FIFA 2002 BUG! Please help me to solve it.

Please Help meeeeee!!!!!

Hi, I`ve got a big problem with the game. After the team selection screen, when I click on the play button, and the download thread finished, the program just freeze or exit automatically to the windows. So I can`t play with this.

My configuration is the following:
PIII 520 Mhz
256MB ram
20GB HD
TNT2 32MB video card
Diamond Monster mx300 sound card

Please try to find a solution for me.

I had this problem with fifa2001 due to,at the time,having an onboard 3d card on my motherboard.

We need more info...do u have latest tnt drivers? what happens when u play on software render?

First, Thanks for your response.

So, I usually use resolution 800x600, but the true is that I don`t use the latest tnt2 drivers.

When I`ve installed this game onto my PC, at first time I couldn`t play. But at the second try it was working properly. The movies were good, and the game was fine. No problem.

But when I tried to launch the game again, it wasn`t working. After the team and side selection screen, everything was ok. BUT the field and the players didn`t appear.

The game just freeze or exit to the windows.

If that doesn't work, maybe reinstall fifa2002 or windows if that doesn't work

Do you have latest version of direct x you can download 8.1 Note:directX8.1 can't unistall.

try this

i had almost the same problem, with 2001 and 2002 befor i changed a setting in my bios (bios is the program u come to when u pressing delete when u start ur machine):

go to cpu chipset menu

then to concurrent pci/host and change it from disabled to enabled...

Hey there, seeing how this is kinda related, can anyone help me with this ( i asked this question before, its just that they lost my thread):

i have installed FIFA2002 and it works, but with a slight problem:

i play FIFA2002 at a 1024x768 resolution (my desktop res).
i can only play the maximum of 2 matches in a row. After the second match, as i try to start the third match (loading the thrid successive match), my system either freezes or it drops me back to the desktop (at a resolution of 640 x 480, my default is 1024 x 768). When i try and change the resolution after it has dropped me back to the desktop, it freezes again.

At both instances, i HAVE to reboot, because my system is just stuck like that, frozen. Can anyone help me with this? i can't play my entire season quitting to windows after every two matches and restarting FIFA!

What could be the problem?!
my specs are:

Intel Pentium 4 1.3 GHz
Intel D850GB Desktop Board
20GB HDisk
nVidia Geforce 2 Pro/GTS 64mb (drivers Detonator 22.80)
384mb RDRam
MS Windows 98 SE
DirectX 8.1
Creative SoundBlaster Live! Value

Can someone help me with this? I'll gladly list down my peripharals if needed! Previous FIFA editions (00,01) never posed this problem. Why can't i play this game at 1024x768 res?!

I also had this problem, but I had it with FIFA2001... Now I have XP and it's gone! Have you tried the following in IExplore:
-> Tools -> Windows Update ??
Perhaps it'll help you, good luck with it..

Currently I use Win98SE, but you win. I will reinstall my Op system.

I`ve found and OP system wich is working.

The name of this: MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP.

Yesterday I did the upgrade from 98se to WindowsXP, and you don`t believe it, it`s WOOOORRRRKKKIIINNNNNGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!

I like WindowsXP very much.....
