FIFA 2002 Commentary Problem

Hey everyone!

I've got a problem with my FIFA 2002 commentary. Um, a few days ago, my entire Windows system crashed and I reloaded the OS, together with a new version of Directx (v8.1).

For some reason, after that crash, FIFA 2002 commentary has been non-existent. The only thing said is, say, "Brazil and England" just as the teams are about to kick off.

I realise this is a common problem, or it wouldn't have appeared on some FAQs all around the Internet. However, the problem's that the FAQs don't seem to know what the problem is and, therefore, cannot provide any help.

So, knowing the more hands-on approach of actual gamers might help in these situations, I seek some decent help from u guys. Hope to hear soon! Thanks in advance. This is really bothering me badly and preventing me from enjoying the world's best game fully.

Mentioning files, I believe that it involves the following file:-

FIFA2002/data/audio/speech.str

It would be good if every single file in that FIFA2002/data/audio folder could be copied. But, in the event that it can't, I believe it is speech.str that is the problem file.

I actually remember a mate of mine tell me about another file, sounds.str? If this file exists in that folder, please include it in that upload.

The easiest thing to do, still, would be to upload the whole folder? I don't reckon it'd be too big. Please help! There are many of us who need it. Thanks in advance!
