hi

wondering if any of u guys cud help.

I brought fifa 2003 and love it but the problem is I cant host online games as i'm stuck behind a router with needs to use port forwarding (NAT).

My question is do you know which ports I need to enable to host an online game.

Many thnx in advance

The ports you have to use are:
2048 UDP
2048 TCP

I can host directIP matches, and I can connect to both directip and ea online matchup games. However, I can't host online matchup games becase the EA servers don't have reverse dns is my guess. So the client trying to connect to me is trying to connect to my private ip address, not my public.

:f***: I had the same problem the way i resolved it was to portmap and forward all port data to the ports however the problem is i portmapped 2000-4000 it didn't work and then i did 1-65535 and all my services client side died but the hosting finally worked between me & a friend. So far directonline matchups only word 1/5 of the time. don't know why either?

Give your internet ISP number. Your router IP is assigned to your home network and isn't readily connectable from outside users. You'll need to dns or find your line IP and forward packets thru the router to your local server for it to work.
