Fifa 2003 crashes

I have no problems installing the game and starting it up.
I can browse through the game perfectly, but when I try to start a match, it just crashes back to desktop (when the game is loading with those glowing little men).
The strange thing is that it only crashes when I play with some teams. For example: I can play Porto vs Lens or Arsenal vs Man Utd but I can't play Real Madrid vs Barcelona!!!!!

When it crashes it comes out with the following error message:

I even downloaded a No Cd Crack and the game started up just fine, but it kept crashing like it used to.

I think this may happen with me also.
during a season, i have to simulate the match because of the problem. There might be an issue with the data for one of the teams. Try to play barca vs some other team and real madrid vs some other team.
