It's not a problem...if you get this screen it means the game is working. Wait for maybe 5 or 10 seconds and hit space. You should get the blue men on the screen telling you that the game is loading.

I can run the game fine with my computer which is equipped with a Radeon7500 w/64MB. I am using the 7.76 driver from ATi.
The only thing I have encountered is a crash after modifing the ini.big by myself. I don't know why, but the game runs absolutely smooth using any of the ini expander downloadable from soccergaming's download center. Can anyone here modify the playing teams, the ground they are playing and etc.?

I think it is not possible.....

demo raptor cause my game to freeze evreytime i tried to access insatnt replay or teh otehr options..weird...hope they fis them in demo raptor v2

I did it. I've got rid of these annoying bad cookies . I've just updated DIrectX for XP (link is somewhere in this thread posted by Maniac- I think)

oh ****... on my laptop the demo works perfectly, but on my desktop the computer reboots whenever the cpu wants to replay a goal, foul or a close shot..
And about demo expander, team management does not work, with or without the demo raptor..

instant replay works fine, don't believe? See the last pic of 'wing defenders don't help offence?' thread..

My problem is that I install the game by clicking on the fifa_netuk thingy .... and near the end of the installation it says the game hasn't been succesfully installed .. and I must do it again ::

what's up with that ?

This is ridiculous.....I keep trying the demo, and everytime it loads....shows all the screens with things like "Registered trademark FIFA 2002, MLS league" etc, then says press any key.

Does it work? Nope, I press any key, it loads up, and all the players come out of the tunnel. Now, it usually crashes then, either that or on controller select. If I actually manage to get into a match.....it plays for about 30 seconds, before crashing.

Any ideas? I have NVIDIA Geforce2 MX

And yes, I have downloaded and installed DirectX 8.1, and updated the drivers.

Any help would be appreciated, as for the few seconds I've actually been able to do a few passes, and PLAY the game, it has looked good.

I have the same problem. The game locks up all the time after a couple of seconds play.

and when i asked EA about my probs this is what they said...

"Unfortunately, I am not certain that your CPU is fast enough to run this demo. The other drivers and perhipherals for your system are nicely up to date, but we have not yet assigned this software a minimum operating speed for a processor -- you may be below what is required to run this game."

gutted...still got a PS2 and an X-BOX thank god...

download demo raptor from www.socceraccess.com and change details to high..

Hardware accelerated graphic

I installed and it ran perfectly the first time. Then the message "Need hardware accelerated graphic" poped up thereafter. I almost gave up but today it is up again. I just changed my monitor from Plug and Play to the specific one (here is Apple Studio). Not sure that solved the problem but not gonna to change it back to Plug and play I read some guys have the same problem so think it might help.

After all this the fifa demo runs in slowmo -mode or something. The menu's are working on normal speed, but when i'm ingame everything is superslow. Even the mouse pointer is jerky.
Does someone have this problem?

Hi everyone !

I have the flashing players problem with my Matrox G400.
I've downed the latest drivers, I think I guess. And I donwned DirectX 8.1

Could plz someone tell what to do, or which drivers in particular i should down, cause I think i havent got the right drivers, but I don't see which! Couls someone look for me ?

How popular are Nvidia and Radeon graphics cards and the bloody demo doesnt support them. The full game best be updated to this otherwise im gonna go nuts. Even if we update to the latest drivers it still doesnt do anything. EA, get it sorted, and quickly.
