I noticed when the CPU makes a substitution, the sub has a big white sphere on his legs! And doesn't have a head!! (he actually has, but only from far view)
It's maybe because the subs' head and face are not included in the demo. And why not? Because the demo is originally set up that CPU won't make any substitutions, but I've changed the ini.big so it does. Anyway, as said, CPU does tactical subs pretty well (only if set in ini.big - ai.ini: CPU_DO_SUB=1)

Why are the Colours on the players and the ball all stuffed, and at the start why does it say BAD ARTIS NO COOKIE??????

I've got a intel i740 in my old com and wc2002 is not copatible with it, let alone fifa 2003..

I have pentium III 800 Mhz 64Mb ram and 3dfx voodoo 3 3dcard...
When i click to the fifa2003demo icon a black colour is in my monitor for 5 seconds and then it returnes me back to windows without any error message.... If i buy ASUS GEFORCE4 64MB will play? Please answer me quickly.....

I get the: Bad Artist No Cookie and weird colours error.

i used to be able to run the wc2002 demo with my intel i740 on windows 98 but now on xp neither that nor 2003 will work

I can't even install the game... It says: "Please insert disc 1". I try to press ok, but it doesn't work... I have downloaded the demo from 2 different places, but the same thing.

Well it feels a little useless posting another the-game-doesn't-work message because there seems to be no way to fix the Bad Artist No Cookie bug.

The people who have the game working are telling the others to download the latest drivers. I have an NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 graphics card and first I downloaded the 28.32 driver which the readme file tells you to download. It had no effect on the game and afterwards I installed a new driver with the code 40.72 and it made no difference either.

In other words I would advise everyone not to download any drivers because it is a waste of time. EA have screwed up, although I will forgive them if the final version has good gameplay.

I'll just get a new graphics card, can someone tell me if

hmm i gotta geforce 4 4200 card and world cup 2002 fifa 2002 and fifa 2001 work and nhl 2002 work, but fifa 2003 demo doesnt work, and i dled all drivers for my card and directx8

im running a p3 800 mhz 512 mb ram winxp, geforce 4 4200, and it looks like ea doesnt regonize my card...it always says" fifa 2003 requires a hardware graphics acceleration...so there u have it....peice of ****

Hi,

does somebody know how to set the refresh rate of the game down?

I downloaded the thing for over an hour and just when it seemed it was ready to go I clicked on the icon and it said 'a required .DLL file, D 3D8.DLL, was not found'. What does this mean? Anyone who can help? I want to see this thing.

I have win98 and directx8.1 and geforce 2 Ti/500/xp golden sample and it works fine ,but with few cuts.I dont have any kind of your's probelms: colours - black ....

9. Notes on Sound and Video Cards

a.) Problems with the NVIDIA RIVA TNT
For Windows 98/ME/2000/ and XP users:
This card is only supported using Nvidia Detonator drivers Version 28.32.

b.) Problems with the KYRO Chipsets
In 640x480 the Pause menu overlay will appear to be missing part of the background. To fix this issue, set the resolution to 800x600 or higher. This will not affect game play in any way.

c.) Problems with GeForce2, DX8.1 and WinXP
The use of Alt-Tab is not recommended under this configuration. During configuration testing, the available versions of DX8.1 and GeForce2 drivers did not support Alt-Tab functionality. Updates are expected for DX8.1 and/or the GeForce2 drivers.

you have to use the 28.32 drivers, hope it works..
