Fifa 2003, Ps2 Or Pc Version?

I loaned the PS2 version but I also have a PC. Which is the better version. I am keen on the pc one because I undertand there are downloads to add additional things like the make of matchball. is this correct?

I'm sorry to sound vague but have only just discovered the delights of Fifa after getting Fifa WC 2002 at a discount for the PC and enjoyed it. Is 2003 better than the World Cup version?

Thanks

yes, 2003 is better than the world cup version, and yes, the PC one is extremely customisable... if i was you, although the PS2 version is kinda easier to control, the game looks and feels so much better on PC...

They both stink.. you have a ps2.. get Winning Eleven 6 FE or Pro Evolution Soccer 2, both game sdestroy fifa.. even World Tour Soccer on the ps2 is better then fifa...

How big is YOUR penis?
Buy WE or PES on PS2, or even TIF, they both are better in terms of gameplay compared to EA. On PC you got no other choice except FIFA.

Neither, the longevity of the game isn't good enough unless you can edit it, so if you MUST buy it get the PC version.

re. the above advice

Dude, if you have a PS2 what are you even thinking considering to get FIFA. Get PES2 or WE6. Unless of curse you're more interested in messing with Beckham's hair style or Figo's boot color than gameplay. In terms of gameplay, Konami vs EA is like Tyson fighting a four year old blind kid!!!

As someone who has both versions, here are my thoughts -

PS2 version plus points:

Skills are a lot easier to do
The gameplay seems smoother
Its a lot easier to string some passes together

PS2 version negative point:

Nothing can be edited (boots, kits, balls etc)

PC version plus points:

The ability to specify individual boots
The fact you edit practically everything to make it look more true to life (sponsors etc)

PC version negative points:

Its obviously not as nice as to control as the PS2 is made specially for games & the PC isnt

The fact you cant head the ball when you are on your own

Unless you have a really high spec PC, expect breakup on the graphics as well as being poor quality

There is a major chance of having technical problems like crashes etc

You could experience the best of both worlds & get both like me but its the expensive way to do it unless like me, you got the PS2 version bought for you & then buy the PC version 2nd hand from eBay.

Oh, and....

The fact that 50% of the people on here seem to have compatability problems with their PC and FIFA 2003 (nice beta testing once again guys!) might suggest a push towards PS2 but once again, if you have PS2 get WE6 next week when it comes out.

PC. I can't believe you are actualy thinking buying ps2 verision. If thers a game for Ps2 and you can also find it for Pc, don't think about it... PC all the way (even for gaming)
