Real faces, real stadiums. Doesnt sound like 99 to me.
Fifa 99 didnt have 24 stadiums. It didnt have Real kits, Real faces.
I do agree that they should come up with new ideas, like a real career mode, where players get older, and change in skill over many years until you have to sell them cause they are crap, or they may retire.
You should also be able to bring in new youth players, and maybe even get sacked and join another club.
Apart from good gameplay Fifa needs Depth. Its better to do a career over 20 season with a lot of things changing in the 20 years, instead of having 3 seasons where nothing changes.
I am suprised no Footy game since Sensible world of soccer (SWOS) has had a career mode. I had so much fun with SWOS years ago, even though the gameplay wasnt very detailed, and the graphics were very simple, the career mode was really fun, because you could start at a club team, then move to another club, and eventually become manager of a national side.
Its a general problem with most sports games, they are just too alike in the options.
PES has the master league, and PES2 has improved on the master league to make it more realistic, so what is Fifa going to have?
