I've only got one wish:
That they may ever look at a real match, 'cause this ****ing game sucks after a month! The AI is way too bad! I really mean it! I played against Terni with Juvents FC, at home. Now, I'm an experienced player and have played fifa for many years now, but somehow the cpu managed to have 57% of the ballpossession. FIFTYSEVEN PERCENT!!!!! It always attacks the same way, and somehow each time it has got the ball, bang it scores! I'm really getting tired of this game. Shots from outside te box are a good change, but it DOESN'T EXIST that players shoot from 50 m and score. And it certainly DOESN'T EXIST that players from a team like Terni can break away from a defender like Thuram. The real problem, which absolutely has to be resolved, is that you can't ever control your hole team, thus making it a kind of stratgy game. As long as you aren't able control all members of your team at the same time, you will not win! Simple enough.

I think the gameplay could be good if there was imlpemented different styles of playing. FIFA2002 gameplay serves counterattack teams, with long passes, wich gets boring after a month or so. They should adjust it to the way teams actually play. South American teams have a different tactical culture than the north europeans, and so on.

Screw the details, get to the gameplay first!!

Put in some lower leagues like the Nationwide and the Scottish First Division. Also custom leagues with your mates.

I played Terni my first game of my second season with Roma and lost 1-0 and had similar experience to what you describe and was like you have got to be kidding me. I am trying out some gameplay patches to see if that helps you may want to do the same but I guess the point is we shouldn't have to go through all this. EA are supposed to be releasing a patch and one of the things that is supposedly getting fix is the AI. Time will tell.

i think EA sports should get the license for the OPTA Index Game Statistics...cause the statistical part of Fifa 2002 still sucks...if u get a suspension in your domestic league then woe be unto that player if he has a european game next lol...what i'm saying is that they should seperate the types of suspensions also the goals scored in the league,knockouts or in europe...i like playing with 'real' players and teams so i can manage that particluar team as i see fit...therefore if i see Raul having a shitty season(that is not scoring enough goals)then iwant a a real reason to sub or drop him or maybe Viera or Keane not winning enough tackles in midfield etc...eya i want to see the indiviual stats for each player...so i can then make my own management decisions...also it will help with squad rotation cause i dont like to keep using the same 11 players for every game...nuff said!!!!

If you've gotta accept the game as it is, and hope that the patch coming out will fix some of the problems.

But a 2003 wish list;

- Fatige throughout a season. ie. If Beckham played a big game on day, he might pull up a little tired for the next game.
- Have a season mode with the international teams (similar to playing France, Korea or Japan in RTWC)
- Better stats for the game. At least assists.
- RTWC actually lets you play the world cup as well.
- Dynamic AI. If they are 1-0 down with 10 minutes to go in the World Cup, you kinda might expect them to attack a little more, even the goalie to come up for corners etc. Same as if they were 2-0 up they're going to flood the defence.
- Bring training mode back.

and I really don't know why I'm saying all this cause I doubt EA will read any.....

More researching

It should be more researching on teams. and bidding on players and players just come to your club! e.g I got Rivaldo to Southampton... I don't think rivaldo would have come to Southampton! and you don't any money if you win a league or something... And players isn't getting better.. e.g Alan Smith is a really good player but he hasn't developed...

Man of the Match

The man of the match is always a goalscorer or the keeper. If a midfielder had fun with the opposites and all the assists it doesn't count And if a defender has great tackles and saved the club from goals it doesn't count either. That has been bad with every Fifa game. So that should be in fifa2003. Don't ya think?

yes if there was a proper statistical method then we would be able to see players other than the goal scorers or goalkeeper get the Man of the Match award...also i would like to see players get better with the more games they play or worse lol...then players who havent gotten a run out in a while should be rusty too...also hot and cold streaks would be real nice...faster fatigues and more injuries...oh using the sprint button too manu times should pull your hamstrings more often lol...get my drift peoples???
