I heard that EA released FIFA 2004 as a joke. I heard a rumour that the development team all got high and thought it would be fun to release a really terrible game onto the public just to see if they would swallow it. Is ths true? Sounds plausible.

These type of threads are getting really annoying. Why does everyone think the game is rubbish? I read what all of you have said and i went and played the game and really enjoyed it. For everyone that doesnt like the game i think you should forget about getting anymore Fifa games and move on.

You know what? comments like that pisses me off. Why would I be suck at it? Is that why I m not playing it? No u stupid idiot. I play PES3 and I m good at it cause the gameplay is great way 100x better than fifa 2004. Just because I don't like the way CPU plays that does not mean that I m suck at it. Usually takes me to master fifa games 3 weeks in the wc level. With fifa 2004 I have mastered semi-pro in one day and I stoped playing the game cause of gameplay issues which the CPU plays and scores same way all the time.
