i have to say, let's give this last chanse to ea, lets wait for demo, try it and then decide buy it or no

Also i remember Matt Holme last year said when he played same version as it was on PSXperience he said "it feel complete -like real football, different than FIFA 2002 and WC 2002" or somethuing like that, but at the end we get sh!t as usual, also this year he said he was impressed with pre alpha, but this guy who played it at PSXperience, even played newer version than Matt Holme, and he said he isnt impressed, well, it seems Matt is impressed with every sh!t EA give him to try....

MAtt,, why dont you post true here, tell what did you feel while playing game, but no what EA said you to tell us... we're not stupid(anymore) you allways say same every year, maybe i'll get banned, but i posted something i wanted to post long time ago...this is just my opinion, and i think and i know that most of us think similar to this what i said above...

I'm sick of the fact evry time someone says something against Fifa, he gets completely marked as a PES lover ... you dont accept ANY critics at all (this goes to teh whole environment, the whole forum, noone in special) and say the opposite ... and you get marked as EA A$$licker ... ... guys ...wake up ... get cleverer ... at least try being original! you can support any game you want, you're free person but i think that GAMEPLAY is most important, tell me why is PES best game?!

Look at pes graphics, look at the their license (if there is any ) look at FIFA with all graphics and licenses and look gameplay of PES and FIFA and tell me which one will you play longer=?

i play fifa 10 minutes, then i get bored and playing PES 3 hours, that is what i want in FIFA!

I keep telling this over and over again!! First of all, this is the FIFA 2004 forum. Talk about PES in the other forum!

Secondly, if you're a good programmer, apply for a job @ EA and make FIFA YOU want it to be!! You guys are always complaining! I think that if you would earn a billion dollar, you guys would still be complaining!! Some people are always complaining!!

Wait for the demo, and see for yourself!! You like it, you buy it, you don't like it, you don't buy it. How difficult is that?? Stop complaining!! If Fifa 2004 is bad, it will not make a plane fly into a building or cause a nature disaster. It will only cause you not to buy the game.

Stop bull****ting!! If Matt likes the game, he likes the game!! Who are you to say he's lying?? Than don't visit this forum and go wack yourself off while watching a PES3 movie!!!

Damn!! If I was a mod I would immediately BAN all people that are talking ****wise about FIFA and EA. That's not where this forum is for. 2 Bad I'm not a mod!! Cause this forum would have a lot less members that it has now!

Let me say that I believe those guys @ EA are working hard and are trying to give us a complete soccer simulation! They also give us a lot of information on their website (video's where they explain things). I'll wait for the demo and 'll see for myself!

2 be honest I've played WE (PES) as well, not the latest though. But.... I'm sorry, but I was sick of it very soon! Maybe cause I'm not a console freak, but that's just my opinion! Game wasn't even realistic! I've seen movies where a player shoots in the top corner with his left foot, while he's looking at the right sideline. Ghehehe!! REALISTIC INDEED!!

Everybody has it's own taste and thoughts of how it should be (concerned to gameplay). So stop crying, don't spam this board with nonsense and PES story's.

I think you're the dumbest here!! Read my post before answering bull**** again! I'm telling that it's someone's opinion!!! In my opinion PES isn't so good as everybode says (donno bout PES 3 though, cause I didn't play it yet....).

My point is that everybody is complaining and complaining about FIFA. If you do, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE (FIFA 2004 FORUM) THEN?

If PES is so good, then stick with PES! Leave FIFA for what it is! That's my point!! I don't say FIFA 2004 will be the best game ever!! But at least I give them a chance again! I'll wait for the demo... If I don't like it, I don't buy it simple!! But I don't scream bull**** towards the developers that they're **** in programming and should look at PES, cause PES is the best (you say). I've seen things in PES of which I thougt... "DAMN! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!" where you say it's ultra realistic...

A lot of people give C&C Generals a 9! I personally would give it a 2, cause It's a dumb, stupid game that's made for kids that don't have lives, are always kicked by others at school and want to play war on their computer to get rid of their feelings... Useless garbage!

But!! That's not objective! A game can only be reviewed by a person that's a FAN of the genre!

So, post your comments when the game is 100%! When It's the final build!

Well I play all PES, TIF and FIFA 2003 last year, and I think ( this is only my opinion fanboys, so don`t flame for stating it . . . just like you don`t wanna be flamed with your opinion about hoe realistic FIFA 2003 header and FIFA 2004 teeth were . . . ) that FIFA won the third place in terms of fun and playability . . . Yeah, they outsold TIF last year, but that`s only because TIF is not as famous as FIFA, but TIF definitely got the better footie . . .

Actually I think it is kinda comforting to hear a review being negative - cos it brings us down to earth a few weeks early - and if fifa 2004 really is as good as the bs suggests its a gr8 suprise!

Um... just had to tolerate the TOTAL nonsense regarding WE/PES.

I know I should just go on a respect other's views, but this aint right.

Nothing more disturbs me than someone who really dun even know the game mention how good or bad it is.

I prefer licenses over gameplay.. etc.

I dun care, you could like FIFA for the graphics or WE/PES for gameplay. Though I'd be seriously questioning, "why the heck are you playing a football sim?? Go get TCM or watch TV!!"

You're implying, while you think you're being netural, WE/PES gameplay is not that realistic. You bring in a "I-don't-know-where-you-got-it-from" example of shooting with the left foot.(There are lefties if you didn't know) Perhaps for that ONE case, out of a million, it was wierd. Look at the whole picture if you have any reasonable knowledge of WE/PES you won't say such.... .. .. "things" (to put it polite).

Point is, carry on the discussion based on eligible facts or even tastes/opinions without "FALSELY" bringing down another.

The example you brought into the discussion serves you no good to your opinion about the current matter. All it states is that you really don't know anything about WE/PES.

So, I'm not only here to "defend", as some likes to put it, WE/PES, but to make it clear that say and talk about things that you are only sure of.

P.S.
Talking about the improvement of FIFA will always bring WE/PES. Why?? Cuz they both claim to be a footy sim... and they always get compared... how not?? Even EA has been comparing themselves with PES/WE for past two years!

Wait for the demo and everybody zip youre mouth...

I believe FIFA has some lost features n the gameplay's not perfect yet but I still play it cuz I've played it since 94 on Sega. so anybody who likes PES plssss get his ass to PES forum n don bother us. For the second time, I don't say FIFA 2004 is super, and I don't say Fifa 2003 and it's predecessors are good.

I only say that every game has it's flaws!! Some peepZz are reviewing FIFA while it's not even FINISHED. They're all praising PES etc. My point of view is, GO PLAY PES THEN! AND COME BACK WHEN FIFA 2004 IS RELEASED AND PLAY THE DAMN DEMO!! PES has it's flaws as well... When I'm saying that, some of you are immediately defending PES in it's way! (that's your mistake indeed :P)

It's very simple!

You can't review a game that hasn't been released yet!! And that's why I'm getting tired of all those nonsense, "I'm in love with PES, I hate FIFA". It's like you guys have emotional problems!

There's more than FIFA and PES etc. Play the one you like most!!
It'll always be a case of opinions!

And ehhhmmm... I play soccer at quite a high level (indoor) so I know where I'm talking about boy. And yes I've also played outdoor....

[EDIT] Ohw and why do you think EA is comparing FIFA with PES etc? Cause on the console it's their title or KONAMI's title. Same happens with Doom III and Half Life 2 on the PC. That's just business..... Hope you learned something from me today
