Hey Guys. Just started editing the gameplay of fifa 2004 and will be back with a patch for it very soon.

Desc:
-Balance between passing and dribbling.
-More often sprint dribble
-More faster running speed of offensive players of quality of Theiry Henry, Shevchenko etc.
-More lob passing and crossing
-Better smooth roll of ground passes.
-Very Very tough defending
-Better goalies which are not a wall
-Long range shots
-Better ball physics

Any other things you want added, just post them here. BUT BE QUICK COZ i'm gonna make my patch within a week!!!

make fatigue less powerful or fatigue recovery is quicker.

I would like to see dribbling made a little bit easier- like in fifas gone by you could easily jinx a player with the movement instead of skill moves which i cant for the life of me do (not that i really try)

Well you see this is supposed to be a Gameplay Patch. Not a tournament patch. So for me making a Champions League thing is pretty much impossible(COZ I DON'T HAVE THE SKILLS TO DO IT). But about the dribbling, well i tried to do it and YES, i've done it!!! Just don't sprint around. Just move with your player and make abrupt changes in direction. The CPU will be forced to foul you!!! Do you like this or you like play to continue without foul? Com'on people keep the requests coming.

RELEASE DATE DELAYED DUE TO LACK OF RESPONSE OF PEOPLE. I'M NOW HOPING TO COMPLETE THE PATCH IN A MONTH'S TIME.

I would liek to see cpu defenders, particulary ones fromteh lower leagues make mistakes, and not ALWAYS win the ball and ALWAYS block shots, it is tyotally unrealistic and spoils fifa for me, to the degree that I am almost ready to uninstal it.

Yes make the CPU foul, more realistic. Getting completely past them will require precision and luck on the player's part. Would also like to see a huge variety of different CPU attacks, ie from the wings, slow possession, backpasses, long passes, etc.

Cpu attacks from the wind would be very nice to see it working.I have try to make this work but i had no luck since now.

the nets need 2 be fixed. at the moment they dnt seem to do netin wen the ball hits them. can any1 make a creation centre?

how bout makin yhe shooting system like in we7....:crazyboy: thats what i m dissapointed from fifa2004... anythin else is better IMO

The nets are no problem. Just a little switch i know does the trick. But it's the switch in fifa itself. So i don't know if it really is upto your expectations... Oh and fuTbol_Ian, well you'll have to give me an in depth analysis and description of the shooting system in WE7. One more thing. Don't be too hopeful about the shooting system coz WE7 and Fifa are different in ALL aspects so me editing the shooting system to something like in WE will be extremeeely difficult.


Updates made to the Gameplay so far:
-->Defenders from lower leagues show true performance according to their low levels of skill.
-->Net is more real with better reaction when goal is scored
-->Better ball physics
-->Trying to make long shots less easy
-->Various modes of attack from CPU
-->Better more effective strategy of play from CPU...
Still working.....alotttttt of work to be done....Keep suggestions coming in. Thanks you guys...

looking fortward to the patch


at the moment i am using the feel the game patch, and it is nice to see the cpu using different attacks, and taking long range attacks (luton equalised in the 90th minute wiuth a screamign long ranger today - i was gutted, but happy)

yeh make the computer pressure more or less depending on fatigue and stuff. Also make players more prone to injuries as the season goes on e.g. in late march it would be easier to sustain injuries to other players than in september
