Fifa 2004 is alright.

well after playing the full version i have to say its an ok game. I do like some parts of the game but i hate the passing. It is tooooo slow at times and freekicks are easy to score like last years But overall its a good buy

yeh it is 'alright', but nothing more than that. once u play it for a while u will find out that the CPU is annoying to play against, the goakeepers are awful, and its very hard to dribble.

Now that i have played it more... this game is sh!t. It runs slow, goalkeepers are dumbasses, too easy to score, gets very boaring, overall just sucks.

I change my opinion plz dont buy this game... just wait till PES 3 comes on PC and then we will be saved.

Use the "pass through" key instead the "pass" key.
In PC, pass through is done with 'W' key, and pass key is 'S'

the through pass botton will mess up in certain situations. For example, if the play you want to pass is near the sideline, if you use through pass, there is a good chance you will lose the ball.

why the hell would anyone bother explaining how the game is played to a couple of VERY obvious PES3 fanboys...i just don't know - either way you lot obviously suck at the game and the PC is simply finding the easiest way to score - tru the center of your defence - against me on the other hand, they have to find a way around...

now go wait for your beloved PES3

I just played the full pc version and I have to say that this game is waist of my time. There are things I like but the main thing is gameplay. Why does the players move so slow, makes me sleep Why does it take soo much time for a player to make a pass or clear the ball.... Man I have to say this but its true, FIFA 2003 is better than this IMO. At least players moved bit faster in fifa 2003.

FIFA is a simulation-type game, not an arcade-type game. If you want the players to move super fast, go play Virtua Striker or something.

one reason they have to make so it slow probably for the OTB function. With fasts player movemnt OTB seems cant take much advantage from it. (it is very hard for your brain to work two thing and move two stick and the button at the same time) BUt one good thing is to compenate the AI sometimes dumpness if they happen went off side.

The other game one doesnt have this old feature but still do well in his 1 -2 pass etc.

p.s i didnt critcise fifa or really prasie the other game.

i guess uve never thought about the fact that it might not be the game u might suck at playin it so thats why u dont like the game

Aren't u the wuss who camplained about how the fifa games were too fast, like fifa 99? Werent u the one that complained that the pitch is too small?

Havent EA resolved these issues?

They have both become two totally different experiences.

Theres nothing wrong with the speed. It takes time to master the passing, patience is a virtue.

just enjoy the damn game.

Guys the pace is perfect, it's like in real football. What makes you think that is too slow is the ridiculous pace of PES3. PES2 had a great pace, almost like FIFA 2004. FIFA 2003 was too fast, seems to me that EA gone in the right way and KONAMI made it wrong. PES3 is too fast, like someone said it looks like arcade, FIFA is a Football simulation.
