metal...

i think that looks excellent. the lighting has really been improved. watch a real match, the ball has a wet look due to the rain and also the from the pitch which are generally watered before kickoff.

this Beckham pic looks awesome...the realism, I mean, OK? don't get me wrong, I'm straight to the bone...it's a pity that we won't see all sport brands on kits...but they're authetically made, what's really good...

I just saw the video and well, it's 9/10 or maybe 8,75/10 (I would never give 10/10 for WE, either)...it still feels, dunno...like an unfinished version...and I think it is...I guess all FIFA's videos available on Internet are about the 70% ready version...that's it.

I'm just a little concerned about the keepers AI...some goals looked really dumb (the keeper), like that one against B. Dortmund or that one of Spain x Germany (BTW, that 'caused me surprise....FIFA 2k4 WILL HAVE NATIONAL TEAMS? I thought it was only clubs...I think thats a waste of megs...playing with National Teams is funny only in WC years)....why the keeper had to desperately run onto Tristán foot, considering he was almost in the 'corner' of the penalty box? that's weird...and why didn't the defender block that forward who chested the ball (against Dortmund)? that should be corrected, and EA know that's noticeable...u still got time for it, boys...

I found Ljunberg goal's very nice, and realistic (not a little lame), even why, check the defenders...they almost don't press him up...the game is set on Amateur Level, so the player could score a far distance goal, and it would be 'recorded' to build this video...I can say that the difficulty to score a goal like that is bigger than in this video, from the in-game videos we all saw...specially that Xbox's Man U x Arsenal...my first sight passion sparker for FIFA 2k4...

I loved players faces...damn, they're so realistic, even for small teams...I mean 'small', 'coz Celtic (which has that 'Balde' player sent off) its not a media phenomenon like R. Madrid, and does not belong to a media phenomenon league, but it has got its players pictured perfectly...what makes me believe, that all players will get their faces built as in real life...(back to my 'Player faces' thread, again)...the 10000 ones...well, maybe not the 2nd and 3rd division ones, all right...

the gameplay seems very light and more realistic than WE, I guess...WE may be cool, but realism its really a question of point of view...I guess that its not so easy building plays on the field, not only because of ur opponent, but, mainly, because of the field...spaces, physical condition, ball physics...and I saw that in FIFA videos so far...more than in WE, which got those 'hunch' players...waiting the ball to run or running with it already...

I saw players with different heights and bodybuildings...that goal (beautiful, btw) scored by Maxwell, for Ajax...it was against Milan, and u can clearly see Dida getting too late for even get the chance of diving on Maxwell's feet...and u notice that is Dida, 'coz he's tall, really tall...the same happens with that B. Dortmund defender, number 21 (who's him?) who stands on goal's line...he's big, bigger than the others..veeeery cool...

one thumb up so far, EA! let's wait to lift the other when the game is out and we finally play (PS2 version)...or maybe PC's demo...who knows...hehehhe...

In case you didn't know balls are made of leather not silicon. The ball from the screen reflects almost the entire pitch. A real ball can be a little shiny but it never reflects the grass on its surface.

Not that it's so important to me...

Jesus christ you lot, why are you always ready to give it out for no reason? it's a ****ing ball for god's sake! so from now on we can't post if we don't know what the champions league ball looks like???? good one! if it matters, then my opinion is the ball looks pretty good, but is rather shiney. i'm only sayin that for the sake of the argument. but at the end of the day they can play with a cube for all i care, as long as the gameplay's good
