Fifa 2004 only online on the PS2?

I've not got the game yet but i was planning on getting it for the PC. I've just seen an ad on TV for Fifa 2004 saying that you can play it online, and then at the end of the Ad they said 'Only on playstation 2'.

Whats going on here? Can you play online on the PC/Xbox?

It is online for PC(I've heard the servers are crap like last years though).

And its easy for someone to escape a defeat by leaving the game when losing.
