Fifa 2004 or ISS pro evo 3?

Both Fifa and ISS are great footie games in their own ways. The following list shows the pros and cons i think Fifa games and ISS games have.

Fifa games

Pros

1. Official license for players names
2. Graphics
3. Official stadiums

Cons

1. Gameplay
2. Bugs (in some of the games)
3. Players have gormless faces!
4. Repetitive commentary

ISS games

pros

1. Gameplay

Cons

1. No official license
2. Players too skinny
3. Repetitive commentary

I was talking about Fifa and ISS games in general. We all know that at the moment ISS games have better gameplay than fifa's and that fifa games have better graphics than ISS games.

winning eleven 6 is not better than fifa 2003. It may have a lot of good aspects but one thing ive found out is that it has fake club names and it is not up to date. For example ARSENAL is called LONDON and they have past players such as TONY ADAMS who has retired!

gameplay makes the game 100 times better than fifa. if you say WE doesnt play better you have never ever stepped a foot inside a real pitch and played with your mates.

EA might have all the flash and licences, but who cares, I play 1 game and I am already bored with it. WE I played for 4 hrs at the store before I realized how long I had been playing

I love this argument, if this is your concern, you've never played or watched real soccer, and you've never played PES games...for sure.

Why even "play" a footie game?

Just got to Foxsports.com or something and watch game results and up to date rosters with everybody's picture.

Sure that would please you more.

Plus, there's no such game as ISS pro evolution 3....It's either ISS or Pro Evolution Soccer, they are as different as FIFA and WTS.

You're getting something wrong there.

There's a difference between a football(club) supporter and call yourself a fan.

vs.

Those who enjoy the sport itself. The kind of people who are more into going out on the field and play the sport. And call oneself a fan of the sport.


The FIFA series is "said" to be a football "sim".
And that's why many gamers buy the game; to recreate the outside football playing experience on our computer or console.
And this is also where FIFA TOTALLY lacks behind WE/PES. It FAILS to recreate the outside experience, playing on the field.

For people who enjoy playing the sport, WE/PES is THE game. You find yourself so absorbed in playing the game, you forget if the team your playing has fake names, if becks have the wrong hairstyle, if you don't see coaches on the field, if there's only 3 refs, if the boot is wrong... etc.... -.-

If real names and rosters are what you mainly focus on.
I'd give you my old TripplePlay2000. I'll personally add all the real names and up to date rosters as the teams. You even get to play in the actual stadiums instead of baseball stadiums. Yet, you got to play baseball. It shouldn't really matter cuz it has the real names and everything, and all that is imortant is, whether your supporting team wins or not. Don't matter if they're playing baseball.

Am I a bit too harsh here???

But you should get the point ^^

HAHAHAHAHA...this is the post of the year. Enjoy FIFA man, you must be a hardcore fan of "football". Also a fan of gimmicks, scripted gameplay, bodybuilder demons on the pitch, 500mph shots & passes etc.

Everyone has their own opinions and preferences. And of course they play football in New Zealand. Please stop flaming one another.

Raven, why not get the imported we6fe and patch it to get real english names and up to date rosters? I did that, see my vids.

Anyway, even if some names for WE6i/PES2 is fake, the players has real stats, which is another thing fifa lacks. WE6i/PES2, however, has really poor commentaries, no refrees in gameplay, lack of teams. Each game has their own pros and cons. But if it concerns only gameplay and physics, nothing could win the WE/PES series.

I didnt start this arguement it was dat new zealand guy! i never said i had anything against winning eleven! That guy makes too many assumptions! he needs to kool it everyone has their own veiws :rockman:
