FIFA 2005 1-hour online preview in Spanish Campus Party

Wow...that's an awesome movie! Not to start a FIFA 2005 hype but when I watched it the first time it felt nothing like FIFA. I thought 'Is that FIFA 2005 from EA Sports?' Look at the smooth animation, the cool first touch, the nice passes, the crowd that goes wild, goalkeepers diving like if they are reborn...damn...really cool stuff :)

Same player editor as Tiger Woods..
Mexican and scottish leagues new for this yer.
Career Mode is 15 yrs long.
You have to start on a low rated team.
You can simulate the game on career mode and interrupt at any pt.
About 40 different variations in the formations
comes out second week of october.
The game is now in Beta version.
You can move the receiver in the throw in, so you can use the no offsides on throw ins tactic.
They are keeping the lobs.
Lob thru passes.
First touch with the right analog, depending on the stats of the player the better the first touch.
water on the pitch will affect the movement of the ball.
You still have the jossle on the corner kicks but the camera doesnt zoom in and out.
Busting their balls because they said it was very easy to score, and he just left the controller on the desk and the other guy still couldnt score. You can still score from out of the box.. but not as easy. You can driblle the goalie but is not easy.
2nd game they are playing on fast.

I think that it looks much more fluid than last yr. The first touch seems to be a good addition, we'll see when the demo gets here though.

this vids not working for me....
it comes up to a screen which says play, stop and what looks like volume control. however non the of the buttons work...:(

I just watched the whole thing without understanding a word (well, except for 1 0r 2)

but all i have to say is

The way they controlled the ball and the way the keeper fell after he dove after the chip.

My only complaint is why the **** are those **** ass corners still in the game? only 3 men in the box.??:sb9:

It sounded to me that all those people in the crowd wanted to see the corner and the player guy finally agreed.

Anyone who speaks spanish.... did the guy say that they were still working on the corner system?
Because if that is it......**** **** ****

still, this game is ******* unbelievable... i hope some bug doesn't ruin it...

i not even understand a word in the video. but the gameplay seems interesting, first touch seems quite nice. just the set pieces still .......... 3 player in penalty box when corner. real madrid number still wrong. barcelona kit i think they also haven't updated. i believe EA got adidas lisence, if i not mistake i saw beckham wearing the predator pulse silver in the video during corner. emmm....at the end of the video. the second game they play real madrid vs barcelona. well, let see

Hmm it just looks like more of the same from EA as usual. Some of the passes in the games looked so fast and simplistic, and the shooting looks unnaturally poweful, especially the ones from outside the area.

I didn't see the whole thing but i liked how it showed the animation of people changing directions and depending on how skilled the player was the faster they could change direction.

fifas shots were never fast enough.....:o

One thing I liked was during the madrid-arsenal game, a player took a shot and the keeper saved and the Madrid defender slid to keep the ball in, liked that feature. (Y)

PS: THEY HAVE STRAWBERRY ENGERLAND IN THE GAME!!:crazyboy: :rockman:

that one chip move that one guy pulled was pretty good too.....

everyone was clapping.:)

this game is looking better and better.
