Not surprised that we didn't get any South American stadiums - we'll be complaining about the absence of Maracana, Azteca and La Bombanera til FIFA 2010. EA Sports show very little respect to Latin American football.
What is ridiculous is no Portugese stadiums. Porto are the European champions! Where is there stadium?!
Monaco finished runner up, where is the Stade Louis II?
Speaking as an EPL fan primarily, I have to say that including St James Park at the expense of some of the great European stadiums is a JOKE! Newcastle aren't even going to finish top six this year. Celtic are in the Champions League, why not Celtic Park?
As for Greece and Turkey, both stadiums and leagues, it's clear again the EA have little interest in Eastern Europe. Greek, Turkish and Czech leagues are rated higher by UEFA than the Scandanavian leagues, yet every year we get the Tippeligaen or whatever the hell it's called (no offense Norsemen!).
Also, italianstallion, if you are talking about Munich's Olympiastadion, I read on these boards that there's a licensing issue. If you were referring to Roma and Lazio's Stadio Olimpico, I couldn't agree more, where is it?
And further more, where are Dynamo Kyiv, Fenerbahce, CSKA Moskva and Shaktar Donetsk?! There are two answers:
a) In the UEFA Champions League
b) NOT in FIFA 2005
Scandalous, it really is.
