FIFA 2006 on Widescreen

Does anyone know if the retail version will have a resolution for widescreen (i.e. 1280X800)? I don't think the demo has it, and the image looks really stretched on my widescreen laptop. I wanna know if retail has widescreen before I decide to buy it. Thanks for the help!

There is a widesceen option on the camera selection - not sure if this is what yer after. This is on PC.

they had it in FIFA 05 so im sure they do.

keep an eye on http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/ if widescreen is not surported then the guys over there will probably find a resolution hack, pretty soon after the game is released.
