Fifa 2006 Too Easy

I got fifa 2006 on my ps2 and I taught the game play was ok. and some what like pes5 but after playing online for over a month this is a crappy gameplay. and no where close to pes5. I cant believe how easy it is to score on crosses just run the ball on the wings cross it in the center 90% is a goal.what the hell ? why is it so easy now im done playing it and another wasted $ 49.99 when will ea sports give us a good game, WE9 will be out feb7 so Im done with fifa 2006 and thanks EA for pimping me another year buying your game.

So who's the fool here? Are we to believe you've been "dupped" by EA many times now :) Hey did any of those other footballing games get major licenses other than holland yet? ;)

You're completely right. The default gameplay isn't very good. Billy1969's and Ockham's patches really help out with this for single-player. Both make it much more difficult to score from crosses, the CPU makes subs, and it requires a little more creativity to score goals.

shotta... There is no way that you can compare FIFA 06 to any PES versions as in a full, well designed, carefully adjusted gameplay and fully licensed names and brands and everything.

Ok, PES 5 gets 90% for gameplay and FIFA 06 gets 50%, but in graphics PES 5 gets 20 % and FIFA 06 gets 90% and for licensed, well, huh PES 5 loses so hard.

As I told you, there is no way on earth that you can compare FIFA 06 to PES 5 as a whole game. The gravity in PES's gameplay is like 10000. The ball flys like a balloon.

are we talking world class difficulty here, because the only goals im scoring are like off rebounds, own goals or from 1 on 1's. i think they made it ridiculously hard to score normal goals. all the ones i score look the same. i must have also set a world record in the number of times the ball hit the post: 6 in one game (for both sides though), as if the goalkeeper isnt good enough.
