Fifa 2006 vs world cup 2006 commentary

I noticed in the EA World cup 2006 the commentary appears to be enhanced above that of fifa 2006. I noticed that in EA World cup 2006 the commentators actually call out the name of the player who currently has the ball. This is amazing. Does this happen in fifa 2006? anybody know?

yes it does happen in fifa 06 but because there are so many players only some/usally the more famous players have there own commentaries but i think it would be cool to import some of the new names that are said back into fifa 06 im gonna go and play as usa to see if freedy adu's name he is one of my most important players but they dont say hes name he is in the squad for the us though so i might try to import his name if it says it

edit:yep it does so know i just have to work out how i can export the sound file from WC06 and import it to Fifa 06 any clues anyone tried this b4?

They called out names of players (even players that weren’t known) on world cup 98. Maybe i am misinterpreting what you meant though.

thats what made world cup 98 so very special.

maybe if you play national teams with fifa 06 the names will be called? can someone try that and let me know. I'm deciding whether to buy world cup or fifa 2006.
