Ok, after a few days of work, I believe I have imitated the FifaFX engine to the best of my ability.

So, what we need to do now is write the batch files. So, for all the FifaFX fans, post what you want in this year's batch files.

Currently, the program can achieve the following:

1. Allow user to select the save game they want to play with in the game.
2. Allow user to select home team.
3. Allow user to select away team.
4. Allow user to select league patch.
5. Automatic loading of teams when user press save in game.

Note: There is one thing that is different from last year. You CANNOT change save game from inside the game. e.g. You chose save game A from my utility, then open FIFA 2003. You play one match in save game A, but then got bored, and decided to change to save game B in FIFA 2003. The automatic loading of teams, will not function properly, unless you go back out to the desktop and change the save game in my program. However, if you just stick with the same save game throughout, there's no problems whatsoever.

Edit: Also, if it is possible, can someone post this in the FifaCity forums, because I believe there are a lot of FifaFX fans there. The more ideas we get, the better.

All i want is a program that swaps stadiums

currently ReFa has done a german stadium and an edited roof of Amsterdam now if you can swap the existing stadiums with this one then ill download it.

man im happy for your site but change your sig as there is a regulation for its size

something like 250x60 ok.

Hercules: i gave it more thought all i used fifafx was so that each club could have its own individual stadium, ball, aboards and commentary, however the only problem was when i was satisifed with the clubs having each of these i was up to about 4gigs worth of downloads, so if you can reduce the files or something while being playing fifa would be awesome but i doubt that its possible

all i want is for each team to have its own; stadium, ball, adboards and comentary.

Yeah, I thought about this as well. But since we haven't got that much to download at the moment, file size, I think, is less important than loading speed. When time goes, I will look at this problem, and maybe implement a zipping of all the files in the team folders. i.e. compress all files and decompress them only when they are needed.

And as for now, stadium, ball and adboards are all possible. But I don't understand what you mean by commentary. Do you mean each team will have commentary of different languages? e.g. German teams have German commentary? Italian teams, Italian commentary?

Would it be possible to make different weather effects in the game? Something like the weather patch of this German Guy (Sorry Kumpel, war keine Absicht! ;)).

Well, let's check up some common features of FIFAFX and let's see which we can cross out:

- Goalkeeper Kits: Not neccersary (Kit Raptor)
- Ingame Sounds: Music only after goal and during the intro sequence possible.
- 3rd Kits: Not neccersary (Kit Raptor)
- Referee Kits: ???
- More individual backnumbers: ???
- Crowds: Might be possible
- Tv-Popups: We should wait until some useful pop-ups have been made.

Is it possible to give the teams more than two chants? That would be cool. Installing them with cc sucks cause your save games will be deleted.

Well i think that with this programme you would be able to use 2 GK kits for a team ie home and away GK kits.I can assure you that there will be personalized ingame sounds,crowds and tv popups for a particular team.I doubt for that backnumber thing.Well hercules can correct me as he is the creator of this programme;)

Goalkeeper kits: Not necessary, as you say, I don't think it will be necessary even for home and away GK kits, since I think there is a possibility of installing the away GK kits just normally (placing them in the data folder) You can see this in the Japan away GK kit. Of course, I will have to investigate further. If it is not possible, I will certainly add this feature the program.

Ingame sounds: Can somebody tell me where the sounds are stored, so that will save me time finding them. I am very busy. ;)

3rd kits: Yep, unnecessary, but I might implement a feature to install CL kits, when it is a CL match. (But this might be very difficult to do, but not impossible)

Ref kits: Although El Gallo said there is ref kit raptor, but that doesn't do things AUTOMATICALLY for you. That's why I would most probably add this feature in the team batches, and definitely in the league batches.

Back numbers and fonts: I don't really understand how they work at the moment, don't have time investigating them. So, unless somebody explains to me how these work, I cannot add the feature....yet.

Crowds: Certainly possible. As I have suggested before (in FifaCity), I can read the team rating in the roster file (which is out of 20), and then according to this, load the appropriate crowd file, so lesser teams have few crowd, and big teams have full crowd.

TV Popups: Yes, we need to wait for some decent popups to be made. Because in this area, most patchmakers are still experimenting, and I don't think it is worth the time putting this feature in....yet. I hope somebody would soon prove me wrong tho.

And last but not least: Weather.

Weather: I have to download the Weather patch and have a look at the files. I think it is definitely possible to add the weather feature. Since I can read the calendar date where the save game is at, thus, I can load in the snow files when it is winter, for example. I can also increase the likelihood of rain in the rain season, maybe?

A lot of possibilities, I will have to see how it goes. But this might be in the second version, as I would probably simply release a simple version, with basic features for the time-being, since I think there's no point keeping ppl waiting.

Ok, good stuff, keep the ideas coming.
