Juan Román Riquelme - (my favourite player in the world, so I'll try to be objective). He's a middle slow player, but with a lot of technique. He has lot of style, and the ability to dribble as very few player can. He can really amaze you with his dribbling. As for the shoots: He shoots A LOT from outside the area box and VERY well too, he has a lot of strengh and of course, he shoots the free kicks and he scores a lot from them.
Saviola- A VERY fast player with a very powerful shoot and quite a good dribble.
Becks, Giggsy, Owen - You know them better than me
Ronaldo - A slow player, but with nice dribble and intelligence to shoot and he is very fast to define the plays in the attack.
Roberto Carlos - (you know him, but anyway.....) A SUPERB DEFENDER. VERY fast (one of the fastest), with one (if not the) of the strongest and fastest shoots in the world, and makes the ball curve a loooooooot.
Zidane - A slowed down player, sometimes he's fast, but he dribbles a lot, even if he doesn't shoot a lot, he passes the ball, he's not egoistic, at all.
Figo - Quite fast player, he usually plays on the sides and dribbles a lot, then he lob the ball for someone to head it. He also, often, takes the Free Kicks.
Raul - He usually stays in the attack, and desn't go to the defence, and scores A LOT, A LOT, one of the best attackers in this planet

Great description fo the players Fede, I can't tell more that you, you told the specific characteristics of the players of Real Madrid and of Saviola and Riquelme, but I think i can add something to your Ronaldo's description, he has a lot of power, he can make a long run and he is very fast, but doesn't make so much runs, because he gets tired. So, he's fast, but doen'st run so much.

Just wanna give my description for United players.
Scholes - Slow, Turns on the ball a lot really well. Great shot, makes great run into the box, good headers. (I know u alreday done him but I thought Id describe him anyway)
O'shea - Allround great player, good feet, quite fast, strong, good passes, confident!!,
Rio - FAST!!!
Silvestre - FAST!! Control isnt good, Can sometime pass well, strong.

NK, could you maybe make it possible to score from outside of the area? i don';t know about gameplay updatin so I don't know if that's possible but peeps like Nedved and Batistuta are always smackin it at goal from 30 yards and scoring but you can't do that in 2003.
Also if you could the ability to curl normal shots would be a good addition

Riquelme 10, I just wanna point out Riquelme very rarely takes free kicks, for baracalona Frank De Boer takes em and for Argentina Batistuta, Crespo or Veron take em

I think youre wrong to say Ronaldo's slow.... He's acceleration matches all the top players in the world and everyone knows that... In fact once he was clearly the fastest.... When hes off the ball... he'll make lil movements unless attacking... thats all... Brilliant dribbler... top finisher... Nice shot power... Great skill... Fast pick up.... Thats more like the Ronaldo we know...

right, sorry about the delay with getting this beta released, but the fact is, FIFA 2002 has taken me about 2 years to get where I am now, that is at great gameplay which I personally and I know others enjoy...don't worry it's not going to take 2 years to get this beta out, just don't expect miracals when this version is finished, cause FIFA 2003 really is scripted to f*ck!!!! The gameplay isn't as fun as 2002, but that been I am using 2 years of hard work on FIFA 2002, lol. You guys should re-instal FIFA 2002 and give my latest update a try, lol, it's good sh*t!!
But hey, seriously I will do my best with FIFA 2003, just that I was about to release the beta, had a match of FIFA 2002, lost with a balanced score of 2-0 in a 20 minute match, played FIFA 2003 on world class, 8 minute game and won 1-0, so you can see the difference!!!
Anyway, the beta will be released soon.
Right now though I'm playing a good friend on-line Direct IP on FIFA 2002, I've given him my latest beta and everything is fantastic, me and him on same team on Amateur, lost 4-1, lol...by the way I'm trying to say that my gameplay update for FIFA 2002 is amazing, lol, I'm so modest.

any news?? BTW I played your fifa 2002 gameplay patch from your site and its not that god, I cant seem to pass the ball across the pitch without it being intercepted. Someparts are better than 2003, headers!!! and sometimes the passing and movement is good, but I still prefer 2003.
