I always test and make my gameplay on default sliders; you can try it out for yourself because it might be too fast for some or perfect for others. Maybe later I can make an implemented sliders version, but again, everyone is different.

fucking brilliant, man..

as I told I play career games only.. got into a game, saw the player prices and stats messed up.. very disappointed since I like to discover talent, adopt new players..


but as soon as I got into a friendly match.. god.. this is how fifa 13 should've been from the start.. player moves, shots, passes.. fucking brilliant, really, great effort.. now I'm gonna have to adopt myself to transfer system and player seeking..

Thanks, Theo. What is the problem with the prices? BTW, the ratings are messed up, but are basically just lowered a bit for everyone - Messi is still the highest rated.

Hi Andrea.
One question: when i start now a player career, will my stats of my created pro also be lower then in original ? When i start a career with the original gp they will be around 68. So with your gp ( not installed yet ) they should be also lower like the other players. Otherwise i would be a top rated player right from the beginning.......hope you understand my bad english

cavani is 86m$, oscar cardoso is 68m$.. messi is 126m$.. but I managed to squeeze filipe luis from ATL Madrid for 6.6m$..

as I said I need time to understand how it works..

besides, seems like there are less fouls in comparison to semi final version.. is it me or you tweaked that also?

After 10 games I found the final too static, the game doesn't flow. And the reason for this is that CPU players hold the ball too much, they just keep going backwards, twisting and turning, sometimes the same player stays in possession for almost a minute. This way they always end with 65%+ possession albeit having just 2-3 shots.

It seems that for every team there's a player or two who do that... Arsenal - Sagna; Tottenham - Sandro and Defoe; Barcelona - Jordi Alba; Dortmund - Subotic; Brazil - Hulk. Looking at the names and stats I suppose it's related to the short pass stat.

The exception to this was a game I played as Everton against Stoke and the CPU was more direct, as you'd expect, and I ended up with 53% possession.

I tried some slider adjustment but with no luck. Only increasing Run Frequency to 70 made the gameplay better with more attacking action, but that particular ball-hugging behaviour still makes the game unplayable for me.

I saw this too. You must understand how FIFA is programmed - the difference between the short passing and the dribbling attribute for every player governs how often they attempt to dribble or pass. If you saw the one-touch passing around the AI's defense in vanilla FIFA, this is because the gap between the two attributes aforementioned is too small. I can't make a 25+ gap between the ratings for every player because all the individuality will be gone. It is an on-going fix, so if you want good movement for every team, and smart decisions from every player without changing the main structure of all the dribbling and passing ratings, it is a near impossible task. I can still refine it some, so don't lose hope. Thank you for pointing out the individual players causing the problem. You can expect a fix soon.

nice job Andrea., but i've played a little with the db, due to the fact that some formations where messed up a little
(example: in stead of 4-3-2-1, there where 4-3-2*), and i can confirm what sattan_hussein sayd about AI's passing, but i'm hoping that can be done.

It can, but some ratings might be screwed up a little...

I admit I haven't been following this thread for long, I was so addicted to my CM that I didn't want to use a new DB. So I've only tried the semi-final version earlier this week (although I was probably playing a earlier version of your product.ini without knowing) and it felt amazing, except for the CF/CM bug, but the game was flowing like I've never seen.

It's weird that I didn't notice the overdribbling issue then, one-touch passing was there although not too much. But according to the changelog the players' stats are the same in the final version as they were in semi, so I should have seen the same behaviour, or I didn't play enough games?

The final has different player stats, actually. I fixed the CM/CF bug you mentioned in the final and am now fixing the over-dribbling issue.

I think I have it fixed - the result is lower short passing and dribbling in general. If you contain them the whole game, they won't pass, so apply some pressure to force the pass.
