This version requires FIFA Infinity Patch V7.0 and to be installed prior to installing this version.

The V7.1 database and tournaments will not be installed by default to avoid breaking active career and tournament mode saves. Use FIP Version Manager to install the updates.

If you wish to customize available career mode tournaments using FIP Tournament Manager, you must do so before starting a new career.

When starting a new career, the "European Competition in 1st Season?" which allows you to choose UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League groups is no longer effective and should be avoided. In your first season, these competitions will start with qualifying rounds like all subsequent seasons. This change was necessary to allow the UEFA Europa League restructure and to allow the UEFA Europa Conference League to be added to the UEFA version.

Release Notes:

This version should fix all bugs reported since the release of V7.0. These include:
-Issues caused by 26 player international teams.
-Fixtures not scheduling for UEFA CL in UEFA B and UEFA C.
-Problems with Greek Cup in UEFA C.
-Ranking tables of UEFC CL/EL/ECL not being updated meaning 21/22 winners where qualifying for UEFC CL/EL/Super Cup instead.

No new leagues where included in this version. This was to avoid the needed version reorganization to accommodate them and the extra testing this would require. I wanted to avoid delaying this release due to the major bugs in V7.0.

Only one additional patch league (Scottish Championship) was updated in this version. Further updates where also delayed to accelerate this release due to the major bugs.

Promoted teams are now 77/90 for the 23/24 or 2023 seasons.

A large number of players without EA IDs where allocated new IDs as EA has unexpectedly started allocating IDs in the patch ID range.

One further version is planned for this season. This is intended to include some new leagues, further squad updates and the long delayed version organization.

Finally, a massive thanks to everyone who has worked on this version!

Real groups are no longer possible in the first season to accommodate the UEFA EL format change and include the UEFA ECL. The ranking tables in some of the versions of UEFA tournaments where not updated meaning West Ham was not set as the UEFA ECL winners therefore not qualifying to the UEFA EL. This has been fixed in V7.1.

This change was necessary to allow the UEFA Europa League restructure and to allow the UEFA Europa Conference League to be added to the UEFA version.

Can I add more teams using cm16 or will it crash? I created some national teams to implement the world cup tournament and I would like to add them to the game with your mod @scouser09

Your UEFA A compdata also allows you to expand to 7 more competitions, even allowing you to optimize the blocks a little more, as looking at the settings file there is still a space of almost 600 lines for expansions (4005 is the limit) and the compid for more 7 (100 is the limit). The training database can even be created in the way I suggested to you in private the other time we spoke via PM. And the limit for players would be 34,045 players... running very loosely on its base date. I even talk about issues of managing so many databases to edit. Imagine being able to put UEFA A, B and C in a context together? Maybe it's possible.

Therefore, even the others can also benefit from the same experience of more integrations. Reference strings are valid, but the general.lua and transfer.ini files being linked between the IDs of the new competitions and even subdivisions do not cause the game to crash as they have the necessary interconnections. An example I did was to have the playoffs built into the leagues, releasing an ID for expansions, in short, I see a lot of potential in concentrating more on just one game core... which makes the project more attractive and less swapping of DLC's to play different contents.
