FIFA Renaissance 2015: Global Gameplay Package With Specific Addons

Thanks for the catch, massimuccio63. I just realized I made a bad error by not concatenating the trainer path to the ini files' names, so that may be the reason why editing the settings isn't working. Really sorry for the error, but thank you for pointing it out.

I've been using the CE table version, and for some reason, CE reads and writes to the files correctly while my standalone exe does not. I'll have this fixed ASAP and will re-up everything then.

Possible Fix

Alright all,

Let me know if this version fixes the problems.

FIFA 15 RGS Beta Revision 5

I've tested the "Refresh" and "Freeze" functions and all seems to be working just fine on my end.

[Changelog]:

+ Possible fix to the "Refresh and Freeze" functions.
+ Upped CPU pass error
+ Changed the ini's to txt's for ease of saving edits
+ Removed the "Close button", so you can now exit the program by just closing the main window.

P.S. Please note that I've only just begun learning Lua, so I've got a ways to go.

Happy testing.

Don't understand why it's not working for you. If you make your edits, save them, and then hit "Refresh", you should see your edits working. I did this 10-20 times last night on my pc with no issues. All your files are in the same directory, correct? Did you delete the old version's files before trying revision 5 and extracting it to a new directory? Make sure you are running the rgs 1.0BR4 exe and not any other one.

No duplicates in the rar. Tell me if the exe generates duplicates so that I can fix that problem. If not, this one should work.

Well, now it works.
Before I forgot to save the file with the extension "ini". What a stupid! Excuse me. ;-)
Two questions: what do they mean, in the boxes, the -1 ?
And it'not very clear to me "first timer and second timer" (1.750 - 2.250, 1/2 second difference? What's?)

Anyway, thanks a lot, now it's time for experiments:clap:

Glad it works. Are you using the new one I just posted? BTW, now you'll have to save as a txt because that's the file extension the R5 script accepts. Now you won't have to change the extension when you hit Save As.

-1 Means that the given slider is set to randomize and that no change will be made when you save the freeze settings. So leave as -1 if you want that slider to remain at its default, un-frozen value.

First timer is the freeze interval for the first half in seconds and the Second timer is the freeze interval for the second half timer.
The timers control how often the values randomize or change.

If anyone's still interested, I'm converting the script to the latest EXE update. Seems like no one but massimuccio63 has tried the script since release, so I'm assuming that it does not need further tweaking for the new release.

EDIT: Looking into ball physics after the conversion was finished, and I may have some things to tweak this year. :D

Excuse my ignorance Andrea , what change your patch ?

P.S.Are you Italian ? :-)

Yes, I'm part Italian. My patch, as you can read about on the first page of
this thread, randomizes sliders with respect to the current situation in the match which creates an overall feeling of less scripting and unpredictability. Customization of this script has been available since the release of Revision 5, so any user can adapt the settings to his/her tastes.

I'm now converting things and possibly looking to edit ball physics -- I found one constant tonight that affects drag because the ball floats and curves like a beach ball when set to a low value. For some reason, setting this value higher has no effect as I can ascertain, but these constants may be interrelated and require more testing. More news on this later this week.

Complimenti ancora Andrea

Excellent news that the physics of the ball !!!
Sorry but unfortunately the English do not know him well and with google translate understand the meaning of certain phrases and ' hard! :)

I'm sorry, but my Italian is very limited, so all I'll say is this: I have a new version coming out soon if everything works out smoothly and I get the ball physics constants decoded. There's currently no ini in Italian, but I'll attempt to simplify my instructions when the time comes for release.

Alright, this weekend is when I will get back to business and tackle deciphering the ball constants in FIFA 15's memory. I've got a good week or so of vacation, so there should be a new release by the end of the holidays. More news this weekend.

I haven't abandoned the project, so don't worry. ;)

Could you please give me a short Description about what randomized Sliders really are improving? Less calculatable/predictable CPU-Gameplay, more Surprises or what exactly? Thanx in advance...
