Fifa Sold out in some parts of London

This is a suprise because i cant remember the last time this game sold out. It normally ends up in Computer Exchange after a week or two. But for some reason my bro whos going back to Fifa :ewan: went to get a copy. Went to Toys R Us the dude said they were sold out. Unfortunately some 10 year old kid was seen leaving with the last copy. Suprise :lui:

He also went to Game in Brent Cross. Londons haven for spending credit card money. And they were sold out there too.

This is a sign Fifa is on the up. So Konami better sit up and get to work!!! I'm defintely getting PES if i see some improvements. If i feel its a carbon copy i'll just wait for PS3 and the next Generation Pro Evolution Soccer. I'm not sure if they'd still call it that.

Yeah, I don't give a darn about EA's marketing ways and the like, but FIFA07 is a seriously good improvement well at par with latest PES that has been the -same game- ever since PES3.

I'm hoping Konami finally improves the title, because even if PES has slight edge in certain gameplay aspects (but not in -every- aspect as it was few years ago), FIFAs presentation, amount of licensed clubs, amazing sound, great graphics and really great animations and well-improved physics and gameplay are something to worry about.

Let's just say that EA managed a good punch with FIFA this year, and I'll wait to see if Konami responds. I just hope it won't be -the same game again- as it's been for a long time now.'

I'll buy PES whenever it comes out as well of course, I do that every year (since there are things I like in PES that aren't in FIFA and vice versa), and I'm way too much of a soccer fan to live through the year(s) with just one title.

The only thing better about PES is ball physics!!! Thats it. I was playing Pro 5 today and thinking if the next one pes6 is as bad as this i'm definitely not wasting my money.

The response time on PES for the playstation controller is ridiculous. PLayers with 99 technique like Ronaldinho struggle to control the ball in pressure situations..HOW is that?????

PES fan boys need to get off konamis nuts and realise the bigger picture. PES may be better in terms of gameplay but the game is full of many flaws. Its been stangnant since pro 2. There hasnt been major progression like FIFA. How is it that i'm running with Torres and he struggles to beat hyppia for pace and also keep control of the ball it was all over the place. The passing is diabolical you have to actually make sure the man your passing to is ready because the movement is poor.

The game is good and i play on 6 star before some dumb fan boy comes on here saying i'm crap. In master league mode which is way harder on 6 star i beat teams like Arsenal 4-0 and BArca 3-0 so its becoming easy. But the flaws in the game are paramount. Its time to stop being fan boys and just see who has the better game.

I played FIfa and was very impressed. I can gaurantee next year they will make massive improvements in the game play. Like they did this year. PES is alright but it is very frustrating and the players not just the A.I but your players play like bloody 5 year olds. MOvement, Technique is rubbish in PES and the dumb fan boys know it!

bottom line.....there are 2 fun footy games to play on the 360 this year and we should be happy with that :)

Truly speaking FIFa has great music,menu,commentary,everything that you need in a next generation game,but the gameplay sucks if I need to say the truth.Real football is not really that fast,and thats not the way the game is played.If you look at the player sprint,at the player's celebration(See Drogba's celebration in FIFA 07),the way they look at the ball,the player physics.. all are extremely bad and pathetic.And if you concentrate on PES,you will get real gameplay,while you play you will feel to be inside the real match.But again in PES,there are pathetic menu,commentary,balls,few licences(that because of FIFA).But the best part about PES is there are immense sites for patching the game by which you can add all the licences and make PES as good as FIFA if not better.And a patched PES is miles ahead than FIFA.But the way KONAMI produced PES6 dissapointed me like all,no new effort to give something new,even menu music are same!
When I get a PES,I play then FIFA,because thats the time I patch the game,and when patched,I play PES and not FIFA.
FIFA is like Barclays,extremely good marketing policy,glamourous,crowd pulling,but standard of game is low and PES is like Serie A,few crowd,not at all glamorous,no marketing strategy,but great standard of Football.
In one line,if you like menus sound play FIFA,but if you like Football play PES.
