As a futbol lover, i agree with you. fifa2001 is more unrealistic than fifa 2000, have you checked computer vs computer game??? they never head the ball!!!!! incredible, like in fifa 97!!!

FIFA VS ISS

I just get the FIFA 2001 to check the improvement (I stop playing the FIFA series after Road to World Cup) and I'm very disappointed again.

The game is so unrealistic (did the programmers ever play soccer?), if you want to have fun with friends it’s quite good but if you want to feel the thrill of a real game it sucks. Way to Fast ! So easy to dribble with tricks that will never work in real life, so easy to score with some incredible header or kicks, so many bugs, ….

I’m back on my ISS soccer pro evolution on Playstation and keep waiting for a real soccer game on PC. Sorry my friends

I completely agree with you guys

In my opinion, ISS Pro Evolution is the most realistic soccer simulation out there. FIFA is only dumb eye-candy.

P.S.: Please note I'm talking about the ISS games made by KCET. There's another Konami's programming group named KCEO (responsible for the ISS64 and the new ISS 2000 for PS2). The ISS games from KCEO are more 'arcadish'

I agree with you too, but I play ISS98 on N64. This game is 10 times better, than any Fifagame, and in ISS98, I'm the best in the world!

Why EA just sign KCET to do the gameplay in the Fifa series....EA will NEVER get it right!And how can I unlock the real starting 11 for a team that I choose in the Master League in ISS pro evo?

I don't think you can start playing a Master League with the real players. Whatever team you choose you always get the same 'average' players. You'll have to buy them later, when you get enough points . You get points when you win or draw a match, as you may now.

Just wondering that why nobody mention a soccer game call Libero Grande(PS) from Namco because that is the REAL soccer simulation as you can only control 1 player!! and it's in 3rd(or 1st?) person view(like tomb raider), isn't that the most realistic soccer? hehe, although you can ask your teamates to pass to you, it's very difficult to play.

I think EA should quit insisting on using famous players for crap motion captures and hire some PROGRAMMERS THAT PLAYED FOOTBALL instead of wasting time in front of a monitor! I believe that the ones that worked in FIFA 2001 had never played football- or even watched a football match!

Well, I hope this is just a rumour but I've read somewhere on the net that the new ISS will be much more like a FIFA series meaning "arcade" oriented to please the growing US market....

They spent money year after year hiring players for motion capture.
What for??????????? Isn't the movements in 2001 same as 2000?????? Not much difference, and why on famous player, because they can make PERFECT bicycles and thats why we keep scoring on bicycles? They should get a kid that plays for a school team(pay him $6/hour) and capture how he misses those bicycles.

EA hires those players like Davids Scholes etc. is to make reputation and make people buy the game. As iceboy says, there isn't much difference in player movements, and some of them piss me off like when the ball bounces, all the players stare at it until it stops! EA should stop hiring those players and use their money on hiring new programmers and compensations of fired employees that don't know anything about football!!!

fastmove - the new ISS 2000, made by KCEO, game is aimed at the arcade fifa crowd.
ISS Pro Evo 2,made by KCET, is the sequel to Iss PE and should be out Dec/Jan.
