Guys, you can insert most to the files from WC2010 from the PS3 version. Even the commentary works.

BTW, all of the kits/minis/banners have been converted by benqbiggis.

If you can make it, that will be a hell of a patch.

Couple of questions:
Can you put the World Cup in Tournament mode (not in Manager Mode)?
Are you going to create a separate league with 32 teams? If you do so, we might have players from WC teams coming in transfer market of MM e.g. in transfer market you may see Xavi from Spain to Real Madrid.

@ RobbieD ... true, i've played with the national teams mod for so long now, its awesome. Big thanks there. Yet im a bit shaky on the roster. For the wc2010 mod it would have to be exactly how the roster was during the cup. Also the kits, since they (as i recall) sometimes look diffrent in the real cup than they did in the ps3-game, which was done before the tournament has actually started. E.g. the all black german away-kit, or all blue uruguay ... dont know if those have been corrected with patches later on, and are available for us, otherwise we'd need kits for those cases. Same goes for faces and roster-changes.

And of course the stadiums :) ... is there any progress or news on how we could implement them from the PS3 version maybe? I saw that you did quite some research on that if im not mistaken

International teams are replaced with 32 WC teams and logos and official rosters :D

Will this mod feature an qualifying mode? And how about the tournament itself, i've created a wc2010 tournament with cm11 once, but there was no option of sorting the teams inside the groups, they where always picked at random. Is there a way to make the groups the way they where without having to sort them manually in the game?

And the first screens look so sweet even now!!
I like 2010WC so much...
I really want to join the team but I'm not a great modder, I have only made some graphics (you can check my thread) :D
Though I will provide any stuff I find/make.

As for me, the team needs a bootmaker who will make Nike WC pack. I would suggest it it to be Alex10 cause his works are top notch. There are only 4 boots to be made. The rest have been made already of exist ingame.

Seconldy, I have Serbia and Ivory Coast in my game so I can provide the CMPs if you want.

Then about stadiums. Have you guys checked KDK's thread? There are like 3 great South African Stadiums, none of them has been released though.

As far as I know it's almost impossible to add them to the game and it is bad news, cause they would make an amazing atmpshere...

As far as i know kdk has already been contacted, but no answer so far. I think anyone who knows a little about stadium file structure, imports / problems is free to chip in here. Any kind of knowledge that could lead to the real stadiums in this patch would be much appreciated!!! :)

dude !! i know you want to use both patches at a time, but i think this wont be possible :md:

What you can do is that install fifa 11 in a new directory (a new install) and install this patch in that...in this way you can play with CEP with one and one with WC edition.....i wished to make separate exe but dont know how to do that and even if it is possible or not......

BTW what is databse switcher...i cant find anythin on it :icon_spyed:
