it just makes more sense, all the bg screens & everything else for only 32 is pointless.

32 in reality is only basically editing fifa 11's vanilla nts.

@kader51 - I've mentioned several times in this thread the release date :/, and as far as qualification is concerned i'll see what can i do once i finish with the teams :D

the black lines appear in the game only as far as i checked. They arent visible in the replays either. So my guess is that is where kdk made the screens

No, to me they appear also in the replays!

Fantastic progress. keep up.
oh, and don't forget the vuvuzela it'll enhance the atmosphere. i know it's annoying
but trust me it will.

as far as i know there is a no way to put sound files in the game apart from music yet, so you might have to bring someone with a vuvuzela with you while playing ^^

there was a world cup patch back in fifa 10 pc and it had the vuvuzela
so it's not impossible. then again i'm not a moder what do i know.

fifa10 and fifa11 are completely different.

And regarding the stadiums. There are two problems that remain. The moving black pieces bug are definitely some kind of missing textures. You can see its the pitch textures (confetti and stuff) and the country flags hanging from the ceiling that are black. Its like the stadium looks for a texture file that is not found. Then for some reason these textures move all over the place as soon as the ball is rolling.

The other problems is the shadows, wich are diffrent for the players then the shadow textures on the ground. Also it doesnt work at night either, since the illumination on the pitch remains daytime while the stadium itself is nighttime. I think a decent modder could find out how to fix this somehow, maybe. But then again, nobody mastered the subject of importing new stadiums into fifa11 yet, since there arent any to download out there. And it kinda stands to question how much sense it makes to spend all this time and effort for fifa11 anyway at this point. I mean since fifa12 gets closer and is supposed to be the same as the console versions wich still are way ahead. Gotta say, its hard for me to motivate myself to mod for a game that will be obsolet quite fast now :-/

Touchée ... guess im demotivated rather easy ^^ ... its just that fifa11 has so many issues that can never be modded in, and thats frustrating for me. Missing and too little cutscenes and atmo etc. ... just wished we would have gotten the real fifa11 for pc right away. Anywhooo ... back to topic :)

It certainly should be possible in fifa11, everything is possible ... question is how. No one seems to know yet or, as far as i know, is searching for a way to get it done, same for importing sounds i assume. We are unbelievably far with cm11 and all, yet there is still much to find out regardning the file structure of this new engine fifa11 brought us.

Anything that can be found out about it will surly come in handy for fifa12 one day. But its one thing to use what is there to make a mod as this wc2010 mod, like music, graphics, leagues and teams ... yet its another thing to develope editing stuff that isnt there yet at all, e.g. importing / creating new stadiums. THAT alone would be a project in itself ^^ ... . So if no one come up with a way to get it done, this mod wont contain the original wc stadiums im afraid, at least not in its first release
