Good thing I play with no updates, In fact I'm still using the moddingway 4.0 database just before any transfers happened in January of last season, with appropriate player potential editing in CM where needed if the player is performing well in real life...the reason being it's more fun and realistic to play career mode disabling the July transfer window, and plus it adds managerial pressure (injuries, suspensions, player morale, etc...) and allows for a longer scouting of players needed for January to strengthen the squad ;)

no, meant any update, not just squad. origin tends to replace all the files that don't match the latest version of the file, therefore replacing the customized files. luckily, i had the edited files backed up :)
