Figo had a pretty good season at Inter and in the NT he was pretty influencial. God how we miss him to put order in that team. Costinha is a joke of a captain.

cannavaro did well for juve and italy last year

gerrard was great for liverpool

henry as usual but nothing speacial, had better seasons.

ronaldinho did nothing except score 2 good goals against real madrid, well atleast thats all i can remeber. i would like to see him score like those goals this year against us (verydoubtfull).

I don't think anyone stood out enough at the World Cup to overtake Ronaldinho. He did after all lead his team to the Champions League.

I hope Thierry Henry wins though. I love Thierry Henry.

Etoo is just one of the players that played much beter then him last season.

a player doesnt have to just play well in the world cup to win this award.

i thought messi would be in the short list as well.

how about football knowledge in that head? figo did more for us in the world cup than the rest of the team(except perhaps ronaldo) and he's a regular at inter, most of the times the best player they have
