put a next to ronaldinho as well, there other players much better then him, the only thing he did last season was to score those 2 goals against real madrid, i think other players like toni, kaka, villa, etoo, gerrard etc etc had much better seasons overall then him.

zidane is there only because of what he did throughout his career and the fact he is retiring, people love the guy so they say why not we can vote for who ever we want lets vote for him.

He had a horrible WC and I think that should play a big part when people vote for this award considering it was a WC year. Either way this usually is just a popularity contest so I would guess that Dinho would win it.

Well no disrespect to Arsenal but he did get them to the CL final and honestly how many people expected them to get there? I sure as hell did not. He had a young Arsenal team but still managed to make a run to the final. He has been owning te EPL for many years now and he went to the WC final last year. That is a hell of a year and Toni also had a good season but I would give the edge to Henry.

Arnau - This award is for the whole year including the WC, Melli better than Cannavaro, surly your joking right? Eto'o could not even make it to the WC.

kaka deserves this one. if you criticize Zidane for having a good world cup only i can say the same about Canavaro, he wasn't as prominent for Juventus and now for Real than he was for Italy. Kaka if not Henry or Requilme very close between those two for what they have done for there clubs and country during CL and the WC.

did u even see the juve matches, he was quite impressive he just never got the credit.
Because capellos teams dont really get recongnised.

and now for real madrid he has made a couple of mistakes but none really costly, but that happens when u move to a new country city team etc, and did u see him against barca, the only match were he under performed was against lyon, but the whole team underperformed and he was carriying an injury as well.
