the ranking is for A teams only. don't forget that spain always make wonderful qualifying campaigns and collect many points. The criteria is the points per win.

Portugal before the WC2002 was 4th because we collected many points on Euro2000 and WC qualifiers campaign.

thats true, but shouldnt Greece be #2 ahead of all the european teams. I would be mad if I were Greek because they dont seem to get much respect IMO...

Greece had a great jump. this ranking don't counts only with last two months points... :rolleyes:

lol. Paraguay instead of going up in the rankings,went down!! (from 22 to 23). Argentina deserves to be in 3rd place.This ranking is a joke :D

true guys. I agree with all of you that we will never all agree with the Ranking. Everyone wants their countries to be on top. Im a realistic guy.

When Dubcrazy said "Only 16" for Ireland.......In reality......now and Historically, I wouldnt even put Ireland in the 20's.

And besides winning the ASIA CUP Japan has lost about 80% of their last friendlies to "B" sides of Argentina, Uruguay and a few other Europeans in the last 2 years.

I dunno.....

REALISTICALLY: 1) Brazil
2) France, Germany or Argentina
(Spain should be FAR FAR away from the top 10....as should Mexico and the states.)

Its just rediculous sometimes.
Paraguay should have went up since in the last 10 years, they've really picked up their game and are for sure in the prestigious "Top 5" Of South America.


i dunno......thats what the World Cup is for.....to settle these disputes.:D

These rankings count friendly games also! so countries with lots of friendlies against crap oponents get good results in the rankings! oh well
