Finally, dont forget that you can also shape the "condition" of the teams such that a team might consist of totally random levels of readiness/preparedness (the way I like to play sometimes, as it seem totally authentic that different players facing different pressures might bring different percentages of their total game to any given match), or might be set to specifics to represent /handicap whatevr one might want to do in terms of the overall team "spirit," or match readiness, all of which lead to certain expressions of the various tactics outlined above.

So (and this is to those who might be on the fence in terms of purchase or whatever, and not to any poster in particular), I would argue that with its multiple, deep levels of tactial nous, all available to the user, but not required of the user, PES4 offers far more on that level than does FIFA.

On the pitch is the most important aspect of a soccer game, at which PES has only one thing better.............the shooting system. FIFA has more control over your team on the pitch. Neither is far from the other.Yes I agree that PES gives more options off the pitch but on, FIFA edges it by giving the user more control over the other players. If FIFA had the shooting system of PES, I would be in heaven. <-- That is the only reason as to why I play PES/WE.

I personaly buy football games, to play football ...
Not to w**k over the stats & fitness of my team, or the temperature of the match that i,m about to play.

But each to his own, i suppose...
