net.cat if u have problems on opening regenerator under W8, why not make it run with "Run Program in compatibility mode for:"...and choose, if possible, w7, or wxp?
and when someone tries to help don't come back and bite the hand...just say thanks and if that person does not have an optimal solution for ya, searrch another one, smoewhere else...

I already tried that way. Indeed I contacted the author of the program to ask him directly support!
I know that's the right way to do ... infact that's how I behave, but if someone tells u: if u feel bad the only solution is to suicide .... well u clearly understand that infact that's a solution ... but not the solution :P
I appreciate the regulcat's option ... but I think I can thanks him and say ok ... someone else!?
As I said ... I wrote asking for help ... but that doesn't mean that the first one who comes and says the first thing, even if it's "correct", solved my problem right!? There might be other options and I'd like to discuss them, that's all

I also tried the 5.1 IA and I like it.
However, the only problem with all versions of hits patch is that the players pass the ball too much and do not ever try the shot from outside the box. You can solve this big problem?

At least can I understand last thing since I probably found a way to fix my problem?
1. does the regenerator involve some windows register parameter!?
2. From a fresh installation, how should I procede to have the entire Fidel work installed and working? I mean performances tweaks (I remember he introduced them in the 2.0 version), 5.0 patch and dbv.2? Should I procede as this:
- install 2.0
- install 2.0 update
- install 5.1+dbv.2
??

noup. just install 5.1 + dbv2 &, if it works, try to regenerate.
u don't need older version of Fidel's patch.

I really enjoy your gameplay, tested both 5.0 & 5.1, are great , but i think AI defence is a litte too passive in the penalty area and sometimes they react to late ,sliders doesnt work (even on legendary when i play vs top teams this happens to often and also when AI vs AI i saw this)so could you make better teams little more agressive,reacting faster that would be perfect for me,but the rest is great especially the attackers.I hated the orginal gameplay now i can play fifa 12

Right now I'm seeing that is out now (today) the second FIFA 12 Official Update Patch 1.02.
More info soon or check on official forum!
I will see now these updated files:
cards_patch and patch big, data6.bh, FootballCompEngzf.dll, powdllzf.dll, CardsDLLzf.dll, fifa.exe, fifa.par (totally 31,2 M.

On EA official forum many people say that latest update cause more problems, no info about changelog, but expert users from my files name info, can figure out what has been updated!

I played SPECIAL CHRISTMAS EDITION and the new version 5.1 is better.

But SPECIAL CHRISTMAS EDITION was perfect for the faults,and IA used long pass more often.

Hovewer In version 5.1 IA is PERFECT on tackles, movements and speed.

So 5.1 + more faults + more long pass = perfect gameplay
