IMO, the gameplay in that vid you posted is as realistic as the FIFA series has ever looked. The pace and general player movement is pretty much perfect and almost life-like. The only thing that continues to be an issue -- and IMO it can't be fixed because it's totally a game coding issue -- is the continual and relentless forward movement by the CPU. In real football, players stop, stand still, will casually move back into their own end or softly tap the ball back to a teammate, etc. That never happens in FIFA, EA has programmed the CPU to be completely offense-oriented, so that the CPU is always moving towards the opposition goal. And not just moving, but charging.

Hello, for players price check MichaelCorleone fix.
Take care of your best players for your best/big matches.
Use turnover rules like real soccer/team management.
Or edit yourself my db, extract players table and edit/open in excel, increase all values by your favorited % value.

I was trying to make Fidel's Mod compatible with playing in career mode. You know how almost all the players cost way less than their real values. SO I edited a few files for career mode playing. Its not prefect now but CM is much more playable now. I just did all this in one sitting -

1. Playervalues.ini - Adjusted so that players despite being of lesser overall will more or less cost the same. Like Ronaldo ( 79ovr) is about 75,00000$, Messi ( 830vr) at $143,000 and other players too are more or less where they actually were previously. Instead of halfing the team budgets I decided to change this file itself. Now it seems much more real. It kinda feels odd buying Ronaldo for 18,000000$ :)

2. Playerwages.ini - same as up.

Note: The only problems are with GKs as Fidel has kept them ( rightly so) at same OVR as earlier. But I still managed to decrease their costs a bit closer to actual value. Lowering more caused some of the GKS to go 'free' ( Buffon DID :) ).

3. Scouts.ini - You don't want youth players of 65 overalls ( at which iniesta, robben, and other good players are) to come straight out of their den and challenge the big guns. I have modified the files so that that scouted players only reach the range 70-80 at their peak.

I will tweak the files further when I get time. And I'll share then.

BTW I also modified the DB with excel to bring 'potential' and 'overallrating' down. Otherwise the search option in career mode still shows Messi at 94, ROnaldo 92 and so on. I am not sure If Fidel would like modified DB to be uploaded so I would not.

2. Scouts.ini - Tweaked further. Now perfect for Fidels mod. The only issue is that you wont get good Gks by scouting. The simple reason is that in FIDELS mod , GKs are the same OVR as earlier. You'll get all other positions with peak at 84 ( Messi 83 , remember). A few more minor changes. I've done my best to make it fit with the mod but only further testing will reveal the flaws that could possibly be still there.

3.[NEW] Teamutils.ini - [IS_STAR_RATING] RATING = 60 ( from the earlier 82).

4.[NEW] Transfers.ini - NEWS_FILTER_EFIGS_MIN_PLAYER_RATING=58 ( Earlier 76)

I began with MANU and Madrid asked to buy rooney and smalling ( 75 & 50something) which shows that bigger clubs have adjusted automatically to buying players of lower OVR. I was concerned that they may not consider buying players below 75 ovr. I am not aware of the exact mechanism of AI in spending money but whatever it was it has hopefully adjusted to the new DB.

Next up -

I will now carefully do a comparative study of earlier DB with Fidels so that I can modify Playervalues and player wages accordingly. The one posted yesterday are far from being perfect. New categories of OVR will have to be created in the .ini files. This can take some time but once that is done, FIdel Gameplay is near perfect ready for Career mode. The biggest issue is that there is no database anywhere that lists initial values of players. Sofifa and CHuzz do not show the initial player value. It could have been much easier that way. Anyways, I am onto the job. May take some time but will be worth the time and effort.

BTW The files that have been posted up till now are enough to have a decent career mode. So you can start with them.

Sorry for the big delay but I'm busy with my work.
I unlocked some new cinematics/nis (non interactive sequences), also I've optimized and enabled all the NIS present in the game.
Another little tweaks is that now all NIS are randomized to the max value.
On beta 3 you will see more like this:
ai gk, makes a gesture to your team to go up, and lose time if is on advantage

- gk rush fixed (i've checked myself this issue, sorry is my mistake, wrong string value).
- balanced pass error (anyway after your own feedback, I find the appropriate value together with the community).
On 3 series you will see:
the new ball control system, really difficulty, natural touch.
Optimized ball phisics
More long balls
AI players walk, accelerate and naturally touch the ball
AI play like uman, with same difficulty to do good soccer.
Game speed really very slow ( I think more fifa13 users install this version without changing ever more).
Matches are very natural, real and also fun.

There are two matches, first half from Real Madrid vs Barcelona, and Barcelona vs CA Osasuna.

Is the career in the first season, you can turn off the transfer window? That's why I play a friendly match overal average of 70 players is the inclusion career but already have a average of 85?

Yo Razvan. I want to ask you something. I want to play with Fidel's last db combined with MC fix and moddingway patch. Which one should i install first and when to regenerate? Can you explain me step by step? Thanks a lot

ok, lets see...

1.install regularcat's mod, with db files.
2.install in another folder Fidel's mod, with db files (ex: folder "1")
3.install in another folder moddingway mod with db files. (ex: folder "2")


now come's the triky part.
install DBMaster 12 and extract from the two new folders, from the db files all the files in different folders, lets say first folder: "fidel db files" & "moddingway db files".
(you will open DBMaster 12 for each db files)
u can do this by using the "export all" function, for each db files. after extracting, copy in the Fifa 13/Game/data folder the rest of folders/files
(exe sceneassets, pitch staium folder with respective files). Re-open DBMaster 12 and open the Regularcat's db files from Fifa 13/Game/data/db.
Here, by using the "import all" function, import from each folder with db extrcated files ("fidel db files" & "moddingway db files"), into regularcat's db files.
Just save after importing, regenerate with iard tool and start a new career. Thats it!!!!

Thanks a lot dude for your explanation. Its a lil bit hard for me because im not so familiar with DBM program. Im not using regularcat mod, should i use it to can solve my problem? Is there any way to do the same "tricky" way just with fidel and modding patch? Thanks a lot dude

All you need to know is that installing any new db doesn't require regenerating. Get your game running with your other mods first, then simply add Fidel's db. That's it.

bangus, with all do respect, u are wrong.
for every mod with db files you install u have to regenerate/restart career mod.
and to answare to Mihai, yes, u can do the same tricky with Fidel's & moddingway mod.

With every mod with a product file, yes, you have to regenerate. But if it's just a db folder to install, no. I switch db folders back and forth all the time and never have to regenerate.

Example: I am currently testing a db with all player ratings set at 1. I fire up the game, check players' ratings, and they are all set at 1. I then quit, switch db folders, and put my regular db folder in. I fire up the game and every player now has his regular ratings. No regenerating necessary.

EDIT: Just tested it again to make sure I'm not going nuts. Worked just like I said.
