Network: If I select multi-player from the bottom then the Network (LAN) feature is not selectable...

Sound: on all of my machines the sound quality is incredibly low!

Hey oreg.

I had the same problem.

a.
Go to your network configuration (start --> control panel --> network connections --> right click on your default connection, usually "local area network").

b.
Install "nwlink ipx/spx/netbios compatible transport protocol" (press install --> protocol --> nwlink ipx/spx/netbios compatible transport protocol)

c.
That's it. now the option is available. But i still can't play in the network. After i type the machine name and my name, I'm trying to join another computer and I'm not able to see each other.

any way, I'm posting my problem and I'll hope I'll get anyone to solve this situation.
