FIFA's dribbling is borderline Genius

You know it's funny, in the dribbling department, Pro Evo is more about reflex and timing to beat a defender whereas FIFA is some reflex but more on the technical side, you literally have to look at a defender's positioning and try to turn him inside out by dribbling up to him going to his left trying to make him commit than back to his right, trying to get him stumble and out of position then blowing by him (contributed by great animation) which in reality you would do in real life, so the concept of dribbling in FIFA is way more realistic than PES's but FIFA is not there yet and most of the time it looks too awkward but the times it does work it is an absolute thing of beauty and way more self-rewarding than PES because you really had to work to beat your man, especially in the corner one on one trying to get a cross in.

I personally think EA needs to add a lil' more of PES's concept to their own but what do I know, regardless I can see what they are trying to do in this department and I have to say I am pretty excited.

I think FIFA should just keep going on their merry way, really, they are getting there, beg borrow steal from PES if they have to, but really i dont think PES has anything else to offer them, they are all dried up, gameplay was the only thing PES had going for it, but if you cant add to your titles year to year that says you are a lazy ass bunch, or you have no idea where to go next, FIFA is building an entire experience year to year, whereas PES keeps regurgatating the same sh*t every year...............imagine if car companies did that, or any other product, i think Konami is stuck in a hole or they think their game is far superior and are just flapping on a pole waiting for FIFA to catch up, sorry my Japanese friends, FIFA overtook you while you were pulled over beating ya chicken. :brow:

or if you cant add to your tittle year by year it says you dont need to add in thick little features to enhance your game like PES they dont need to add anything stick with whats been working for them for the last 6 years!

That might work on the current gen but not on next gen, after people see games like Gears of War or sports titles like Madden there is little tolerance with PES's stagnation, either PES shape up or ship out of next gen

LOL, PES boys would still rave about PES if it were to stay unchanged for the next 5 years or more on next-gen, they would still say its the best yadda yadda yadda................they have been for the last 4 lol..............they are the reason the game has remained unchanged for so long, they love it the way it is so Konami just repackage last years title with a fiddle........sad and a shame also. :boohoo:

Konami could put a picture of a turd on the front cover of PES7 and reviewers like IGN would give it a 9 for that alone. Fan boys will always be fan boys, if Konami release pretty much the same game next year, they'll be plenty buying it because PES3 and 4 did great so OBVIOUSLY every game from then on is gods gift to football gaming......I call bullsh!t. EA are catching up in the next-gen football and FIFA 08 is gonna do some serious damage to the brain cells of the brainwashed PES fans. Believe me when I say this cause it's rare you usually think it, but daamn Konami better watch their backs!

...otherwise...EA have the gameplay, the graphics, the licensing...bye bye PES. Oh and an online mode that actually works :jap:

NK.
