THE FIFA 19 REALISM MOD IS NOW OUT TO THE PUBLIC!
    **FIFER's REALISM MOD**

(scroll to the bottom for the download)

    Features list:

    Realistic Sacking/Board

    - The board is now more ruthless, and can sack you even if you are only a few months in

    - The league and european cup is now more important then the domestic cup in terms of manager score and Sacking

    - Made the gap bigger between financial strictnesses. Depending on the setting, 65%, 75% or 95% of player sales go back into your transfer budget

    - Your manager rating now does not go up after a draw

    - Made it all the transfer budget remaining for the previous season gets added to the new one

    Realistic Settings

    - Injury returns are now more realistic, and players must player 1-2 games to fully recover

    - Updated currency conversions

    Realistic Gameplay

    - Gameplay is now more consistent, and in turn removes some of the "scripting"

    - Derby, Rival, Away and Important games are now all harder to play

    Realistic Form

    - Form differs between players more

    - Match ratings reflect form better

    Realistic GTN Scouting

    - It takes less long to scout a player

    - Scouting in own league is now easier

    - Reveal level for info is now more realistic

    - Player data expires in more amount of time

    Realistic Job Offers

    - You now get more job offers if you are doing well, less if you are doing badly

    - Only succsesful/well known managers get offers from big teams

    Realistic AI team selection

    - The AI now put out their best 11 in big matches, and rotate against smaller teams, less important matches or before a big game

    - Players in form get picked more often

    Realistic Morale

    - Only players in and around the starting 11 get mad if they don't get played, and will try to leave if they don't get enoguh game time

    - Reserve players are happy with only a couple of starts

    Realistic AI contract renewel

    - The AI now renew almost all of their player's contracts, so there are only a couple of deent players you can get on a Features

    Realistic Player Growth/Decline

    - Players grow partially based on form

    - Old players don't decline as fast, and the stats they lose is more widespread, so Messi doesn't lose 10-20 sprint speed in season 3

    Realistic Player Retirement

    - Players can now play a lot longer (35+)

    Realistic Player Values

    - Big players like Messi, Mbappe, Ronaldo, etc are worth nearly 200 mil and very hard to buy

    - Form, morale and contract length weight more into morale

    Realistic Player Wages

    - Wages are a lot lower for the most part

    - Players with high potential now have a higher wage and ask for more (Donnaruma, Mbappe)

    - Players ask for more in top leagues, and less for bottom leagues

    Realistic Scouting

    - 90+ potential players are rare and even with 5* 5* scouts, you'll only find a few each season

    - Scouts are more expensive and it now takes a lot of money to get good players

    - Heights for YA players are now more realistic based on position

    - Workrates for YA players are now more realistic based on position (you will rarley find a ST with a low attacking work rate, etc)

    - Skill moves and weak foot for YA players are now much higher and more reaistic (no more 1* 1* wingers)

    Realistic Siming

    - Teams now win the league wth 90+ points

    - Teams now get relegated with around 20

    - Positions are more realistic (the top 6 in the prem is normally the top 6 now)

    - Goalscorers are more realistic (higher and Kane, Sterling, etc will win the golden boot, not Vardy)

    - Top assisters, yellow cards and red cards are all more realistic (player and amount)

    - More injures happen in sim games

    Realistic Transfers, Loans and Negotiations

    - Teams now don't stock up on one position

    - English players don't leave England

    - Good teams don't sell bad players

    - More transfers occur

    - Big players move to big teams, and not Austria

    - Players don't move to rival clubs

    - Less players move to teams where they won't start

    - Teams pay more for players, espesially on deadline day

    - A team's best players don't go out on loan

    - It's risky to do transfers on deadline day, as if you delgate they may take 3+ hours

    - Teams/player's now accept less low offers compared to what they want (it's a lot harder to negotiate now)

    - More realistic league transfer interactions

    - Every time a player signs/loans for a team they always lose at least 1 potential

    Realistic Training

    - You can now train all stats (composure, sprint speed, etc)

    - Realistic stats vs drll (composure for penalties, etc)

    - Training is less OP (it's half as efective)

    Better menus (added features back)

I have added the following menu tiles back:

    - Request Funds

    - Squad Report

    - Injury List

    - Squad Ranking

    - Old league table

    - Change kit number

All of these are in additon to all menu tiles.

I have also made some more quality of life menu changes such as putting squad hub first on the toggle on the first page, not transfer hub

Plus hundreads, hundreads of other realistic value tweaks here and there.

    How to install:

    Video Tutorial:

    Steps:

    1. Download the .rar

    2. Install Frosty Mod Manager 1.0.5.3 ()

    3. Run Frosty Mod Manager as admin

    4. Select your FIFA 19 profile.

    5. Click "import mods" and open the .rar you downloaded

    6. Click "apply mods"

    7. Click Launch

If any errors appear then delete defaultsettings.ini

    Changelog:

    1.0:

    - Release

    Notes:

    - Play on directx11 (you can do so by going into FIFA settings)

    - Launching with Origin will not apply the mod

    - If you want to use this on the cracked version of the game, you will most likley need the project file. This is only avalible for Tier 3+ Patrons.

    - Put this mod at the bottom of the applied list for maximum affect

    - Player wages will not apply to your team for current saves. What they ask for will. And for other teams everything Works

    - Other than what I mentioned above, everything works for new or existing saves.

    Features:

More realistic sacking (made league/european cup preformace more important, and domestic cup preformance less important)
Made it so low offers (compared to value/asking price) wouldn’t get accepted so often (they now would get countered)
Your manager rating now does not go up after a draw
Changed the percentage of player sales that go back into the transfer budget
Made it all the transfer budget remaining for the previous season gets added to the new one
    Updated currency conversions
Made it harder to play away games
    Increased rival aggression
    Lowered fitness recovery
    Changed popularity score ratings
    Made fitness/injury returns more realistic
Changed potential offset when signing for new team (always at least +/- 1)
Changed when player data expires (3 - 12 months)
Changed reveal level for certain attributes
Changed number and scouted level of players when reports get back (faster and better reports)
Numerous little changes to the algorithm of what offers you get when fired
Other changes to make job offers more realistic
Reduced fitness bias which in turn makes teams put out their strongest lineup
Made scouting in own division better
Adopted a more Football Manager style of morale having game time
Reserve/Young players are now happier from being selected once or twice
Only first 11 players get irritated by not being selected
Wage expectation has been risen to have players act more like their real conterparts (greedy & overpaid, causes starting morale to be low, dont worry)
Increased amount of time before offers get retracted
Changed the amount of days before you get a warning telling you contracts are expiring
Made it so clubs don’t let as many of their contracts expire
    Stop overgrowth
Made old players not decline so quick
A complete re-design of the modifiers. Players like Neymar/Lukaku/Messi are over £100m now and almost impossible to buy.
Players ask for more in the higher leagues
Players ask for less in the lower leagues (matches Football Manager values in League 2)
    More realistic AI gameplay
Made it harder to find good youth players
Made youth players have better weak foot and skill moves
More realistic work rates for youth players
    More realistic simming
More realistic siming goalsocrers and assisters
Big teams now finish with 90+ points

Still in alpha testing. To join testing and download an alpha version join the testing discord: https://discord.gg/vk9pE5b

You seem to be doing a lot of work around the modding community, so I respect that. That said, how much of your file comes from paulv2k4? Because he should probably be credited. I ask this, because the following lines are word for word from his career mode mod readme from last year and this year:

    moralesettings.ini
    MORALE

    • Adopted a more Football Manager style of morale having game time
    • Reserve/Young players are now happier from being selected once or twice
    • Only first 11 players get irritated by not being selected
    • Wage expectation has been risen to have players act more like their real conterparts (greedy & overpaid, causes starting morale to be low, dont worry)

Apologies if I'm wrong but would just like to know why these look identical.

I have based some of my changes off Paul's fantastic mod (not copying anything directly OFC), and credit will be given at full release, but things changing during alpha testing and it would just be an added complication. That said, I have not included morale in my mod, I will eventually update them to my liking, not with Paul's direct changes.

I appreciate you acknowledging that you've used Paul's work. Personally, I think that's great that you're trying to build on it. The modding community thrives on learning from others and expanding upon their groundwork.

That said, this is the second time I've seen you take credit for someone else's work without acknowledging it (see posts #62 and 63 here). As such, I'm going to use this as a teaching moment. It's one thing to build off of someone else's work, it's another thing to copy word for word from someone else's work without given them any acknowledgement. As I've highlighted in my other post, you literally copied and pasted from Paul's document. Because of this, who is to say what else you've copied?

The solution to avoid this type of scenario is simple -- just use your own mind to come up with the words. You seem like a decent kid and your tutorials are actually quite helpful but you're going down bad path. I'm sure you'll be irritated reading this but someone has to say it, otherwise how should we expect you to learn? I hope these comments will encourage you to think about this in the future. In addition, I hope moderators will take appropriate action if this happens again -- 3 times would seem like enough slack.

I think copying a set of features is different than copying a mod/file. When I do redesigned morale, it will probably have those features, or at least a few. The old morale was based of Paul's, but I made tons of tweaks, but didn't think of any way I could disscribe the changes better, as it had those bits, but tweaked to be even more realistic. Anyways, it didn't seem to get the result I wanted, so I removed it and will fully redesign it later. And I understand your point, but I did acknowledge it this time, when asked, and as I stated before, when published, credit will be given to him, and everyone else who has helped me. I don't really think this should count as a "strike". But say I do get 3 strikes (which will never happen, you can hold me to my word), I do deserved to get banned. But IMO, there are people on this forum who deserve it more, like spammers who spam links to viruses, but they aren't banned yet. I appreciate you trying to teach me, but I think I have already learned from my mistakes.

I've set up a Patreon for the Realism Mod. $1-10 a month. https://www.patreon.com/realismmod Release date is around the 25th of June for Patrons, around 2nd of July for the public, so very little time left before release. For just $2 (a month, cancel anytime, and you won't get charged) you will be able to get the mod as soon as it's released, 7 days before Non Patrons get it. And for $5 (a month, cancel anytime and you won't get charged), **you can get the realism mod right now**. As it's latest alpha. There are many other perks are rewards, like live help, feature request, custom versions, and tutorials. All money will go back into this project, and help me put more time and effort into it, aswell as organizing a group of people to create a mod for FIFA 20, with everything, plus more!

It's quite clear you haven't read anything. Not doing this for the money at all. Money helps me spend more time on this hobby. I still release this and all my other mods for free. If you pay, you get it 7 days earlier. Don't see what I'm doing wrong here...

You are doing nothing wrong, people like you make this game so much more enjoyable. There are many that want mods for free which is fine, but a lot of people would like to donate also. Having the option there is great. I donated to Aranaktu for his cheat table and there are more including you who deserve support should people wish.

Yeah. Nobody is making anyone pay, the mods are still free you just gotta wait longer if you don’t pay a tiny amount.

I don't post here very often, so I don't want to come across as the guy who is nagging but this is extremely cut. You're both missing the point if you don't see that.

    1. Aranaktu is developing software and adding value in a way that few else can. He has to use skills that would take me months to learn (if I could even learn them) to create his application.

    2. Fifer is taking a mod that requires simply trial and error (e.g. what happens when I set this value to x). Let me be clear, I'm not devaluing the work as I have used Awesome Gem and Paul's career mode files in the past, as well as editing my own versions of their files for personal use. But I am noting there is difference in value added between creating an application and editing files that already exist.

    3. Fifer is taking the base line that paul and Awesome Gem have worked for years of Fifa iterations to create his own mod and he has said as much. Frankly, I have zero confidence that you're just copying and pasting 99% of the work from these guys when you couldn't come up with your own words to describe your mod.

    4. How does paying money give you more time to work on this? Are you trading off time from your paying job or is it more that money gives you incentive to work on this? Note that they are very different and, in fact, one involves an opportunity cost and the other does not.

I'm all for people making money. In fact, I'm all for modders making money -- without them these guys wouldn't be nearly as good. Fifer simply started off on the wrong foot and has righted things. Fifer already is already trying to make money through other means like his youtube videos (they may not bring in ad revenue yet but I assume you are growing a channel) and his website. I'll note that his videos are very helpful but continue the pattern of using someone else's work to make money.

I respect your entrepreneurial spirit and you seem like a smart kid but I think it's offensive and insensitive for you to have copied and pasted Paul's work, acknowledged that you have used other's people work as a starting point and then come here and ask for money.

Certainly Fifer can ask for money and people can choose whether or not to pay. People can choose to do lots of things that are right and wrong, doesn't mean we shouldn't speak out when something is objectively wrong like this.

In the same vein, I can come here and express my frustration at what I believe is plagiarism that someone is choosing to monetize. Frankly, I don't think that soccergaming.com should support or allow this because if this was not a mod but something legal, these other creators could have legitimate claim against Fifer for monetizing their work. I've chimed in for the last time on this topic but let me be very clear -- I think this thread is a farce and asking for money for your work is a slap in the face to the modders whose work you are building upon (without the years of trial and error from these other creators, you wouldn't have a mod to work on).

You make some good points, but you clearly still don't understand a few things.

    1. Yes, that is true

    2. It's a lot more than trial and error. You have to find out what values to edit, what they mean, what impact they have. Trial and error is a big aspect, but you can say the same thing about what Aranaktu is doing.

    3. Don't know what you are trying to say here, it doesn't make sense. If you mean you think I stole everything, that's complete BS. Just because I copy some things from a features list doesn't mean I copied a whole file. And if I did, don't you think I'd release the whole mod by now? Also, I will release a few files when the mod is done (not everything, as it's a feature for patrons, also I wouldn't offer it if I did copy anything). All the testers know this work is mine, as they give me feedback, I alter it. If you look at the mods side by side, they have different features. For instance, our player values and very different. As I said before, I used Paul's mod as a reference. I looked at his features list, and thought it was something to go off of. I knew what stuff was possible, what wasn't, what file to edit for a few, and what things needed fixing. I mean, it's hard to put the features into your own words sometimes. I never copied any of his work. If you need more proof, dm me, I"ll send you the files.

    4. I have a very low paying part time job, that I do for a few hours a week. With the money, I can stop doing that part time job, and focus on the mod.

And thank you for the kind words.

"but continue the pattern of using someone else's work to make money" I have never done that...

As I said before, the proof you have that I stole a file is because a copied a few lines of text about the features. That is nothing. You jumped from lightly accusing me of something I didn't do, to saying I broke the law, without any other proof.

I'd like us to continue the discussing, either in this thread, or in DMs, as I would like to not be known as someone who steals other's content.

Please either reply to this thread, PM me on soccergaming, discord (@LWS#7782), Twitter (@FIFER_Mods), Reddit (u/Its_Louis) or Instagram @FIFERMods. I want to talk to you.

There seems to be a misunderstanding here boxers. I'm one of the testers for this mod and can attest that he's not copying anybody's previous work. What he copied is the feature list. Only the description of the features, not the features themselves. Each value has been edited by either fifer or someone on the testing team.
So to be clear, no work is being copied here, only a description.

Now whether you think it's valid to charge for said work is up to you. Frankly, I wouldn't pay for anything that's going to be released for free anyway, but hey if you've got a couple dollars to spend, knock yourself out. Modding the inis might seem like simple work, but it takes a while for you to get the hang of what settings do what and it also takes a loooong time for you to make something that better resembles a realistic career mode. I don't think anybody should be crucified for asking for a contribution if you have the means to. Don't wanna pay? Don't pay and all's well.

What actual proof do you have that @FIFER_MODS has taken anything or straight out copying from Paul or anyone else?.

Most of the gameplay tweaks through .ini files are very similar (Fidel's, Paul's, Supernova's, etc) because the things to be tweaked are always more or less the same, but with different values.

I'd have to see proof of any real "stealing" involved here.

There's no misunderstanding, I understand how a .ini file works for Fifa career mode. You've made your point and I've made mine. Good luck working on this, I hope it turns out well.

@Chuny I had a long response prepared trying to address your questions but I've said all I need to on this. Regarding "stealing", I would simply ask that you read my statements carefully regarding anything that has been "stolen". Aside from that, I've made my point, it's based on principle and the OP. Some people have agreed with me and some haven't -- that's life. If you and the website don't see a problem with this, it's your show and there is nothing more for me to say other than good luck to Fifer and his band of testers. I hope this mod makes Fifa an even better game.

I am reading with amusement all this drivel about copied work. Wheres he evidence this? And if it is so then surely its for the original authors to actually complain.
Lets be clear, the ini modifications arent protected by any copyright. We are talking intellectual property here that is not afforded any legal protection
The actual copyright is owned by EA. We are modifying their work. IF anyone owns the ini etc its EA.
Yes theres the moral issue here. I dont see any evidence of moral wrongdoing by fifa
I have created my own ini mod by developing the work of others. I havent stolen their work, I have developed it.
EA have created the source code. Nobody else.
I find it great that people are trying to improve our gaming experiences. Its churlish and petty to state this work is theft(by proxy)
