Same thing here and DBMaster 12 couldn't open or find the database. So I've done some research on the net tried many things (editing the registry and such) and it still didn't work. But here is how I finaly managed to open the database in DbMaster 12 (File Master still doesn't work) :
I used a program called FinalBig to open the data0.big file in which the database (fifa_ng.db) is located and extracted it and the XML file. But, these files are also originaly compressed with some kind of compression called chunkzip. I needed to use a program called QuickBMS with chunkzip profile for it which also needs to be added separately as profile in QuickBMS. With it I got the database files uncompressed and DbMaster was able to load the database for editing...
