Finalizing Transfers Crash PLEASE HELP!

Does anyone have the solution or theories on why FIFA 09 crashes in the finalizing transfers process screen in Manager Mode?
Usually I can get through the initial transfer window w/ out it crashing, but lately it has crashed even after one or two pre-season games. I have only installed one league patch via exe. installer, not CMP, a few shoes and balls. The league patch is the Polish League Patch 09. I've tried several times to re-install FIFA and the patch, each time same problem. Maybe someone knows a way to find player id assignment errors via file master??? PLEASE HELP.

It happened to me too. After the season I get players from the Academy in June transfer window and when I finish the season the game crashes in the loading screen at 79 % I think. Try not to take players from the Academy just before the end of the season. Unfortunetely I don't know what might be the problem wich cause this.
