Van Persie confirms he was in the club where she claims to have met up with him, so no alibi. They are doing a DNA test, still, a match doesn't actually mean he's guilty of rape. His wife will be pissed, I reckon.

All that proves is that they would of had sex not that he raped her.
Van Persie transferred to prison for a further 14 days,on the orders of the judge.It dont look good.Still thats what you get when you buy a player with a bad reputation i guess.Stripper or not,the girl still insists he raped her.Maybe he thinks that because a girl works in a strip club ,that makes her a slut and is up for it.Still time will tell.If the court case goes ahead ,he can be remanded for a further 90 days and then....who knows.

Can u imagine little Persie in jail, he'll get raped himself, regardless of what he did.
He didn't rape her probably, considering she probably "gave it up" to him, and she was a stripper, and she may have been high/drunk etc. etc. so many factors.

so you too think that because she works as a stripper,that makes her a slut and available to anyone who wants to take her?A prostitute sells her body for money,but she is still protected by the law if she is raped mate.These girls do this for a living and when they finish work for the day,they return to a normal life as mothers,sisters and wives.Nothing gives a man the right to these women because of the job they do.That is an ignorant, chauvanistic and way out of date mode of thought.

Rotterdam's DA now thinks that the woman may have filed a false report about the alleged rape. They have found no evidence of harm done to her (not sure about DNA evidence) so it's just her word against that of van Persie. The investigation, however is not over yet and may take weeks or months. Two of van Persie's buddies (Reinhard Breinburg and Youssef el Bari) were in the same hotelroom and the judge will have them testify under oath in front of (the Dutch equivalent of) a grand jury.
Van Persie has been ordered by Arsenal to leave Rotterdam for a place where he won't be recognized. They gave him an extra week of vacation.

Cheers for the info vagegast. We don't hear much in England about the details surprisngly. It's good to hear that he might be cleared.
