Logitech gamepads seem to work best with EA games.
i recommend Logitech too, it is just like gamepad for PS 2 (dual shock) :)

me too! you have enough buttons to assign, it feels great to hold in your hand, and if you've got a ps2, you'll learn very fast the secrets of the gamepad! My choice for you would be definitely the Logitech Dual Action Gamepad
;)

oh my god, my english sucks more than ever!!!:( :crazyboy:

hmm, so the buttons on the firestorm are in bad places? the analogue sticks are crap? it's not stable?...

interesting, all i can say is that some people will get the wrong idea about thrustmaster only because of a few people's prejudiced opinions...I on the other hand am not going to argue - this gamepad has been proven on the highest stage and the same cannot be said about logitech AT ALL...

anyway all i was doing was replying to the guy as to which gamepad is the best for fifa - now which one is most popular i'll let you guys discuss (even though its pretty obvious)

P.S in all honesty i can see where most of ya are coming from - owning a psx or ps2 would really tilt your opinion to the logitech pad as it's very similar to the ps one, so yea it's much easier to get comfortable with than the thrustmaster, which i admit is hard to master

How well does the PS2 converter thing work? Has anyone had trouble with it in the past?

Im asking this, becasue in another thread it says that PS2 controlelr will not work properly??

I hope it does, i would love to play with the PS2 control

PS2 thing works fine.

Only small problem with it, as I have one, is that you have to press the buttons quite firmly for them to work. That isn't a big deal in most games... however for those of you who play Madden 2004 you would know that to do a long floating pass you "tap" the button, and with the ps2 converter this isn't possible.

For FIFA though, seeing as there aren't any situations where a soft tap on a button is required, I suppose it is fine.

Its the cheap alternative to buying one of the Logitech pads.

Does anyone know where can I get the Logithech Dual Action in Argentina? (getting new hardware down here is getting tough, specially accesories like gamepads). Maybe Galería Jardín?

The official site isn't selling the Dual Action online yet in the US (and Canada). :( I haven't seen it anywhere in Canada yet except online at Compusmart.ca.

Has anyone configured the wingman cordless USB gamepad so all the buttons work on Fifa 2004? I cant get all the buttons to work, and I cannot yet get my head around the amending the config file which uses numbers. I dont know which buttons correspond to the numbers with this pad. I want the same config as I used in 2003 ie: pass/switch B
shoot/conser C
lob/aggresive X
throughball/head/charge L2
runs R2
sprint L

Anyone config this for me, or tell me which numbers correspond to what please?
