First PES2008 teaser!

thx for the link
the trailer looks great, I like how the kit moves as the player runs, facial expressions, and overall improvement of the graphics. Although the graphics can look much better, I will be satisfied with a great gameplay, Edit mode, and replay saving which seem to be in the game. Can't wait for more gameplay footage.

Don't give a rats ass about the graphics and glitter in the next game. The graphs looked good enough even though they rotated them basically from PES4. You can't say much about the teaser since it doesn't show much gameplay stuff. But if what it shows is from the gameplay it does look quite nice.

What I do expect is that Konami ditch the cheating cpu. PES6 is a decent game when playing with a friend. But I ain't paying 40-50 euros for a game that is basically a multiplayer game. PES6 was the worst game Konami has released as a singleplayer game. The players stats don't mean anything and it doesn't really help the immersion if a crappy 68-pace cpu controlled player catches your superfast winger or a 150 cm defender wins a header against your 3-meter tower just because cpu has no other way to make the game harder. The next gen consoles and modern pc's have so much power in them that Konami should be able to put some effort into the AI.

Konami better come out with a demo well before they release the next PES. I ain´t exactly looking forward to buying another PES without testing it first. And I think I'm not the only one. Afterwards I totally understand why Konami didn't release a demo of PES6 before the actual game release since if people would have seen what crap it is, they probably wouldn't have bought it.

Nevertheless I am looking forward to what they come up with this time. I hope it is a blast but somehow I've got my doubts. PES series has gone so low since Konami started releasing multiple versions per year that I don't think they are really even interested in making the game genuinely good. They will get their money no matter what and they can always make some extremely small chances and release the game in a different name after a couple of months armed with a normal price of course.

Naturally I truly and sincerely hope Konami prove me wrong...

Why do people say it's ****? You can't see too much gameplay at all. There's nothing wrong with the running animation at all.
