First Round Games Goal Statistics

Recrero152

Reserve Team
Now that we have advanced more into this tournament, it is much more easier to give a reasonable explanation on how few goals there have been at the first round from what we have seen.

Take note over the teams like Switzerland, Greece and Nigeria have gone defensively and haven't taken an big offensive approach on their tactics.

Take note on how many "top" teams have now been humiliated and crushed by their coaches and I'm referring mostly on France and Italy who have both ended in the last place of their group and both being huge scandals because of the poor coaches.

Take note on media and fans pressure on the superstars like Rooney and Messi.

Take note on how Brazil have gone a bit conservative and careful on their tactics.

Take note on Spain's minor failure(which was completely expected by me) and England's major failure.(which was not expected from me)

Take note on how other, smaller teams have managed to move a bit forward because of bad performances from like France or Italy and smaller teams usually don't perform as well and don't score as much as top teams. We are going to see a quarter-final with Uruguay and Ghana and those aren't excatly top teams so to speak. They are good teams nonetheless but when it comes to the quarter, there should be more skilled teams. It was because of France and Italys failure that this fixture has happened.
