has any1 mastered the first touch option, im using a sidewinder usb and i cant seem to do anything apart from the player knocking the ball away from him, i can use the skill, but no first touch, any1 any ideas??

First touch??

Knocking the ball away from him is first touch. Basically if you have your back towards goal and have some space between you and the goal you would flick the right analogue stick in the direction of the goal when receiving which would allow you to run onto the ball into space. If you didn't do this your player will stop to control the ball then move in the direction of the goal, wasting valuable time.
When it gets to professional mode and harder using first touch to your advantage can be very tricky. But the key is to knock the ball into space you can run onto it. One of the best examples is when there's a defender between you and the goals, if you knock the ball past him and run onto it you can be through on goal.

so if i havent got an anologue stick, then i wud use the same buttons as i do 4 the skill right?? and if this is first touch then wotabout the things that we seen in the videos, like bergkamp and his flick round the defender, is this possible, thanx in advance
First touch will work differently depending on the situation (i think) and the players skill. When i gave a pass to Henry, he was a little outside the box), i presed shift and right arrow (towards goal) and he tipped the ball over his head, passing to himself over the defender. I was thrilled, then i lost the goal 
also, some new tricks
(a lot of you probably already know)
(going from left to right)
up/down- sideways drag
down+up(very quickly but not at same time)- crossover thingy right or left foot and barely drag the ball forward and to the side, and quickly cut the ball in the other direction
forward+backward(once again, not at same time, one right after the other) stepover and 180 turn.
i gotta go now, there are still a few more left though.
