I'm willing to bet you've never been to Africa, right? Nairobi is one of the most awesome cities in the entire world, the atmosphere is just nothing like anything you would expect. All you hear about it being crime infested and threatening and the like is total bull****.

I know that SirCallum, I knew someone would piont it out. I know that there are always exceptions. Even Detroit has some nice suburbs.

Yeah, but I think on the whole most of Africa is a pretty good place to be, so long as you're a rich westerner. It's a bit hardass in the west, places like Nigeria, but otherwise it's pretty good. The muslim countries are nothing like Middle Eastern muslim countries, much more liberated and welcoming.

If you can handle 100km/h+ winds on a regular basis and completely random weather patterns, then it's good.

Random weather patterns are no problem. We had snow in the beginning of October followed weeks later by plus 15 degrees for days.

I've been to downtown Chicago as well so wind is no problem.
