Unless you've managed to sneak into EA Headquarters or hack into their company computers, here are five things you did not know about FIFA 2003.
1. Real Referees... This year the world's number one referees will appear in FIFA 2003.
2. Creation Center Packages... Use the downloadable Creation Center editor to edit rosters, kits, players, chants, tournaments and seasons and save them as packages. These packages can be shared and easily be imported into FIFA 2003. You can also select what parts of the packages you wish to import. For example, if someone creates a Premier League patch... you download it but only want the Leeds United roster from it. You can choose which part of the package you wish to import into your FIFA 2003 and which part you don't. Of course you could import the whole thing if you wish.
3. Creation Center Release Date... The Creation Center will actually be available for download up to 2 weeks before the release of FIFA 2003. EA will also be releasing packages for all the leagues in FIFA 2003 before the release of FIFA 2003. This will allow you to not only edit the demo but also create and edit as many parts of FIFA 2003 as you can so that when you buy FIFA 2003 it is already 100% up to date.
4. Crowd Audio... This year when the away team scores the crowd is almost dead silent. Sometimes they even "sigh" or "boo". Very realistic!
5. CPU Intelligence... In FIFA 2003 the CPU's intellgence level has completely improved. For example, if you're losing 1-0 with 15 minutes remaining, the CPU will sub on another defender and change their formation to defend. They'll also begin passing it around to deliberately keep the ball away from you. The same thing happens when you're leading. The CPU will sub on an attacker and beginning taking more risks in an attempt to score the equaliser.
So there you have it, some extra info on FIFA 2003. Only four days remain until the expected release of the demo. Until then keeping visiting our Forums where you can often find a few new bits of FIFA 2003 info.
