Flickering screen

I'm with a problem.. i've the game since yesterday and an annoying thing is happening:

i make a game normally, but at the second game the image starts to flicker.. like horizontal bars that happear and disappear... it allows me to play, but it's boring as hell..

then if i change to another resolution: the first game is ok and from the 2nd one on, all they flicker again..

anytime i change resolution to more or less the bug disappears, then it cames again beginingon the 2nd game...

I've a Geforce 4 Ti4200 and a computer that runs Fifa2002 and Euro2004 without any problem in high-res...

any help?

Lower the resolution in the desktop and it will work fine

Maybe you should try Alan's idea, bare in mind you don't have a direct X 9 compaitable graphics card, so your card would be prone to such mishaps. Maybe you should try tussling around with different driver versions if all else fails.
